A very rare caneware basketweave tureen with a lid featuring 3 little biddies hatching from their eggs by William Schiller and Sons. In very good antique condition, this item was actually used in its earlier days. Worth noting is that some of the original pale blue color still remains on the eggshells. Designed and potted by W. This crystal glass was produced in Europe in the late 19th century. It was produced by a Bohemian glass manufacturer. It is unsigned. The glass is 6 1/2 inches high and the diameter of the bowl is 4 1/8 inches. The crystal is hand blown and the stem is hand cut. The decoration is raised enamel gilding. There are baskets of flowers and fruits with swirls and swags. The quality of the workmanship is superb. Condition: Excellent

A set of six hand painted porcelain plates with floral bouquets in the well and a gold band around the edge. The mark of KPM with the initials and the scepter in underglaze blue was used from 1837 to 1844. The size would indicate that they are dessert plates, though they are deeper than most. They are 7 inches diameter (18 cm) and 1 inch (2.5 cm) deep.
