An antique Japanese Kotansu (personal storage chest) made of Kiri (Paulownia) and Sugi (Cryptomeria) woods. All original hand forged iron hardware and aged patina finish. Warabite style handles. Straight dovetail Japanese joinery and hardened wood nails were incorporated into its design. Five drawers with a hinged security door that behind hides two small drawers.

There are two original labels underneath bearing the names Jakob and Josef Kohn, from Wien (Vienna). 18th Century Irish or English Mahogany oval shape Cross Banded tilt top Breakfast Table, 30" high, 51" x 42" wide, with Coromandel wood Cross Banded around the rounded edge, standing on the Pedestal with Cabriole Queen Anne legs with caster on the bottom. There are some dark small spots on the table top with age and useage, some wears on the edge but very solid and heavy table.

An antique Japanese Sendai Tansu (kimono chest) made of Keyaki (Zelkova) and Sugi (Cryptomeria) woods. Original natural Urushi lacquer and hand forged iron hardware including the stylized Mokko handles. A vine arabesque design surrounds the family crest on each of the lock plates.

Beautiful little three drawer drop leaf work table, early 19th century, made of mahogany as the main wood and the drawers decorated in tiger maple. It is in excellent original condition, with the bottom of all the drawers chamfered. It measures 30" tall x 19 1/2" wide x 24" deep when the sides are down, and 40" wide when both sides are up. It has its original brass pulls.

There is marquetry every place that there is wood. The marquetry is highlighted by bronze trim all around it. It has cabriole legs, also with bronze trim. Lift-off security door opens to two drawers where the captain's uniform would have been stored. Fully framed in iron.
