A finely made and carved Louis XV style side chair, 19th century. Upholstered with fragments from an 18th century hunt themed tapestry. A charming and atmospheric interior accent. The chair in good, serviceable condition with expected wear. The upholstery simply divine - showing it’s age with conservation preserving its decorative impact. Seat height, about 18 inches. Back height about 38 1/2 inches.

Fine Late Regency Papier-Mâché Tray having a shaped gallery with gilt stencil decoration and inlaid with mother of pearl. English, circa 1835, mounted on a later bamboo form ebonized stand.

This is a pair of antique Chinese official hat chairs. Made of Chinese Elm wood, it was decorated with hand carved Linghi mushroom accents. The finish has traces of transparent Burgandy lacquer.

A late Federal work table of elegant proportion and lines. The narrow, almost square top on turned pedestal with three reeded spider legs. Original surface with pleasant patina. Good condition. Height 31 inches, width 16 3/4 inches, depth 15 3/4 inches.

This screen is carved from top to bottom in every possible place. It has faces, flowers, lion feet, berries and more. The red panels in the back can be easily changed, so it can be made to go with any decor. The two outside panels are each 22" wide x 65" tall, and the center panel is 20" wide x 65". Not only is this a beautiful screen, but it would make a wonderful one of a kind headboard also. It is in great original condition.

It consists of a rare zebra wood top table, two arm chairs, four side chairs, large server, small buffet and closed china cabinet with fabulous inlay. The table, which has a drawer in one end, measures 68" long x 48" wide x 32" tall. It has two 12" leaves, both with aprons, making it 92" long when fully extended. Absolutely the most beautiful American Victorian dresser I've ever seen! Made by Mitchell & Rammelsberg circa 1870, this mahogany dresser is 9'3" tall, by 60" wide, by 25" deep. It has three long drawers over another hidden drawer, and all interiors are maple. Pictured in Dubrow's book "Styles of American Furniture," there is one like it in the Newark Museum. The carving of a women's head at the very top is just beautiful. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Fine George III Octagonal Cellarette or Wine Cooler in mahogany with brass banding, having a hinged lid opening to a tin liner, slightly tapered body with brass carrying handles and the original stand with four champfered legs. English, circa 1780.

Originally used in the dining room to hold wine brought up from the cellar for the meal, the tin liner would have protected the wood from the condensation from the bottles. Now often used as an occasional or end table...

Rare set of English Regency bedsteps in mahogany with caned sides and back, having a turned gallery above three tooled leather treads, the first with tambour doors below, the second now with drawer below. Circa 1800-1815.

From our European Collection, a very large and finely carved oak Prie Dieu, late 18th - early 19th century, probably Belgian/Flemish or possibly French. This Prie Dieu has a very well executed carved central panel, and is unusual for its size and overall workmanship. A dramatic statement piece for an elegant environment.
