A wall plaque with dancing putti and flower garlands, possibly depicting Spring in a suite of the four seasons. Plaster, patinated and polished to look like terracotta, possibly English around 1800, likely a Grand Tour souvenir. Unmarked, the back with two copper rings for hanging. Width "11/ 28 and height "5 ½ / 14 cm. Condition: a few glaze flakes to the left side (cf. pics).

A Victorian sterling silver ornate floral hand mirror circa 1890 1900. This antique 10-1/2" x 5-3/4" dresser set piece has a she ield cartouche that has not had a monogram. The silver marks are usually found near the base of the mirror at the handle, which in this case appears to have been shortened slightly, you can see a separate line, obscuring the hallmarks. The mirror was tested and it does test as sterling silver. Greatly resembles older Kirk or Steiff silver...

Well made old storage basket, circa 1950s, acquired in Lombok, Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia in the 1980s this has been in storage since then. This has a slight trapezoidal shape to the lid and body. Excellent condition- no damage. Top- W: 24cm/9.5in x 21.5cm/8.4in and H: 9.5cm/3.8in.

Small Victorian stick and ball wall shelf with a mirror on top and a hinged box on the bottom. This cute little shelf has brass tops and is grain painted. It dates fromthe early 1900s, and measures 23" tall x 12" wide x 5 1/2" deep.
A lidded brass box, made around 1900, Chinese. Small brass medallions with auspicious flowers and birds have been soldered on to the box, and to the front are two enamel and copper medallions with cranes. One medallion is of the shou symbol surrounded by bats. The wooden lining suggests that the box was used for cigars. The back with stamped mark CHINA. Nice format, width "5 ¼ / 13.3 cm, height "2 / 5 cm. Condition: fine.
I am offering this pretty much as an antique collectable frame (rabbet 15" by 11 1/2", about 17" by 13 1/2" if you were inclined to try to remove what looks like an inner frame). It probably dates to about 1880. For many years it has housed a chromolithograph of sailing craft, "Coming Into Port", by the American luminist marine artist George Curtis (1826-1881). The chromo is on canvas, bearing the stamp of publishers Colton, Zahm & Roberts of New York...

A rare crusie lamp with hanger, dating from the 1st quarter of the 19th century or earlier. The bowls of these lamps were filled with fish oil or mutton fat with wicks of peeled rushes. Crusie lamps were the precursors to Betty lamps and were generally made of iron or tin. To find one made of brass, and with its original hanger, is extremely uncommon.
The condition of the lamp and hanger is quite good, with normal evidence of wear...
