The head is carved in a grey stone that I think is limestone, it is harder than marble but it can be scratched with a steel tool. The naive sculpture seems to be made by a craftsman who was not a sculptor or a sculptor of a primitive people. It unquestionably represents a Buddha with his third eye in the middle of his forehead. There is some red pigment left in one nostril and in the corner of the mouth.The appearance of the stone seems very old...

1900's Chinese Rock Crystal Carved Cowboy Ride Water Buffalo on Wood Stand

It is 6.3 inches (16 cm) tall measured with stand and 5.2 inches (13.2 cm) tall measured without stand by 7 inches (18 cm) wide. The crystal weighs by itself is 1860 grams. Total weight including the stand is 4.5 lb.

The rock crystal has small and flea bite chips, inclusions, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

An early Chinese Buddhist sculptural relic. Wood figure of "thousand armed" Avalokiteshvara. Originally with 18 arms, the figure retains only four arms. The surface, with remnants of lacquer and gilt, substantially distressed. Late Song or early Yuan dynasty. The base appears to be a tightly grained, dense and heavy hardwood with nice, undulating figure in the grain - likely zitan. Figure height (not including base), 8 5/8 inches.

A very large jade disc carved with a hole in the center. Both sides of this central hole are lipped which is very rare in "bi's." Compared with flat bi's, lipped bi's require a lot more carving and are much more difficult to make. The bi is beautiful with its complex colors and patterns.
