Beautiful little snuff bottle made from translucent cream-colored aragonite, a 3.5-4 on the Mohs (hardness) scale, with carvings of a bat (symbol for good luck) with a strand of Chinese coins (means "fortune before your eyes" when paired with a bat). Republic period c1920 Size: 2.75" long, 1" wide

This is a Qing Dinasty, 18th Century, with a Circular, Bulbous, tapering towards the bottom form Yellow Jade snuff bottle, with sloping shoulders, rounded short neck, and flat oval footing. Its background is yellow, but it also has shades of light brown (burnt), beige and nebulous with stripe forms of white colors. It also has a couple of natural lines that meet in a porous area in one of its sides...

This old carved amber snuff bottle is a late 19th century product. On one side, it depicts a Ling Zhi (靈芝) growing from behind a rock; on the other side, there is a magical beast. It is 2" high, 1 1/2" wide at the widest part and 1" thick. It is in great condition

Late Qing Dynasty (1890s to 1911) Chinese wooden stand for a snuff bottle with round top and wide skirt above 3 short feet. Beautifully made out of dark dense rosewood, very nice patina, in excellent condition. Diameter of the recessed area on the top is 1 inch (24 mm), total diameter 1.76 inches, height 0.6 inches.

A dated Chinese glass snuff bottle, overlaid with a decoration of flowers and insects.This documentary bottle bears the Bing Shen year corresponding to 1836 and its fine and detailed lapidary work makes it a highly desirable object. size: 2 1/4 inches high (6 cm). Age; 1836. condition : very good, a small section of the raised coloured ring at the base is missing. The blue glass cover is lacking its spoon.

This is a 19th century, flattened, Square form with rounded shoulders, Jasper Snuff Bottle. It has a design prevalent mostly in snuff bottles made during the 18th century and early 19th century. 19th century Chinese yellow cast porcelain snuff bottle with Qian Long mark. The mark is fictitious which is quite common. One side depicts a bird on a tree; another side is a landscape. The yellow stone cap and spoon are later replacements. There are no chips or crack lines but some stains due to the age. It is in good condition. H: 2 ¾ inches, W: 1 7/8 inches

A rare 18th/19th Century carved agate snuff bottle with, possibly later, silver and rose quartz stopper. On the stopper is inscribed the Shanghai silversmiths "Wen Yuan" who are recorded as having traded from the Jiaqing (1796-1820) reign through until the Republic period (1912- 1949). Condition - excellent - there is a shallow chip on top, next to the mouth (please view enlargement 11) no further damages and no restoration. 5cm (2inches) high; 4.8cm (1.9 inches) wide.

This middle or late 19th century snuff bottle has a white background and is hand painted in copper red and cobalt blue with an old sage and his servant. It is 3 inches tall and 1½ inches wide. The cap and spoon are replacements (not in the picture). It is in good condition.

This is an early 19th C., excellently carved, Pear shaped, with a flared neck, and a raised oval footing, decorated with a black overlay of a ferocious dragon on one side, and an elegant Phoenix on the other.
