This quilt is made out of an old Japanese nobori banner probably from the Meiji period (1868-1912). Superbly Decorated Chinese Famille Rose Teapot of small size. Very finely painted with a scene of a reclining couple and a female attendant, the reverse with hanging flowers within a floral gilt scroll on a grey diaper ground. Yongzheng C1722/36. Height 10.5cm, Length 14.5cm. Condition: knop restored, section 3.0cm by 0.8cm restored to flange of lid. No other cracks, chips or restoration.
