This is impressive kabuki Costume textile of the last part of Edo era.(1800-1867) It is beautiful silk of the dyer's saffron dyeing. A cloud and the applique of the Chinese phoenix which I write the kimono by hand and dyed are on. It has a few stains. However, it does not stand out. A Chinese gaming counter, made for the European market around 1800. Mother of pearl, engraved with scroll work and a star to one side, the other with butterflies. Width "2½/ 6,5 cm. Condition: fine.

Chinese yixing purple clay large teapot. with mark at the base. Good conditions with small chipped at inside the lid and spout.15cm wide. 8cm high.

Pair of Qilin, a Chinese mythical beast sometimes associated with giraffes or Camelopard. Polychrome glaze on clay, with fine detailing. Bottom of the pair contains a seal reading: Qianlong Nianzhi which would be from the mid to late 18th century. However in reality the piece was made during the 19th century. Bronze covered hibachi by Soho Sunosuke. Bronze lid with image of Chinese lions and peonies surrounded with a karakusa or scroll vine pattern openwork border on the side. The body of the hibachi contain metalwork still lives of herons, mandarin ducks, quails, and pheasants. Bottom of the hibachi contains the signature of Soho Sunosuke. Signature reading: Soho. Antique Japanese single iron stirrup with scrolling vine or karakusa with chrysanthemum and plum pattern gilt damascene inlay on iron and mother of pearl or aogai decoration in the interior. Age: Mid-Edo period 18th century. Size: Length: 10" Width:5.2" Height: 10.5".

A fine and early museum quality complete set of five Ko-Imari, Kakiemon style cups or choko. Blue underglaze and green, red, aubergine, yellow and black overglaze enamel decoration of peonies and prunus blossoms in garden landscape with rockery and fence. Traces of rubbed gilt enameled highlights. The choko form saw many uses such as teabowls (also seen in early European ceramics after Japanese examples of the period), large sake cups, and mukozuke...

The grip wrought entirely of silver and engraved in geometrical motifs, with silver jingles on the pommel, the integral bolster heavily inlaid with gold. Single-edged blade forged of actively- patterned wootz Damascus steel. Late 18th century.Gold worn.Overall length 35.3 cm. Condition II

This was the traditional jacket used by girls of the Yi Chinese ethnic Minority. Girls wore this style until they were married. This garment is small and was most likely worn by a child between 7-10 years old. Porcelain decorated with floral on the interior, glazed base. PERIOD : 19th Century MEASUREMENTS: 13 cm wide. CONDITION: no chips,cracks, hairlines or restorations.

A most unusual square porcelain bowl with scalloped corners. Iy is brightly enameled with a plethora of flowers. Each corner features a bat that symbolizes fortune and good luck. This lovely Chinese bowl is in exceptional shape with minimal wear, no hairlines, chips, and free from restoration. Dated to the late 19th century, it measures 4.5 inches across by 2.25" high.

A finely blue & white dish with Phoenix on the center, and decorated with Emblems and continuous floral spray on the interior and exterior. PERIOD : Late Ming (1573-1619 AD) MEASUREMENTS: 19.5 cm CONDITION:frittings to the rim, no chips or hairlines and free from restorations. Good sound when tapping with finger tips.

A very fine 19th - 20th century Chinese inside–painted glass snuff bottle of unusual beveled shape, finely painted with a continuous scene, depicting figures and houses.
CONDITION: A nick on the rim of the neck, absence of spoon.

This cast metal figure of a farm girl is an early 20th century (late Meiji) product. It depicts a bare footed farm girl carrying a large basket on her shoulder. It is 11 ¼” high and 4 1/8” in diameter at the base. The tip of the small stick she holds in her left hand is broken off. Aside from this, it is in very good condition.
