An antique Japanese Kanban signboard of a Sake (rice wine) brewery maker. Hand carved out of a hardwood and finished in a gold gilt with black lacquer in the back. 2 stylized opposing birds and an arrow hitting a bullseye target decorate this sign that was made to depict a celebratory sake cask.

Individual wooden table with such unique decorative carving made in Haeju (around Pyongyang of today) in Korean Peninsula, early 20th century, approx. 43 x 32.8 x H 27cm (16.92 x 12.91 x 10.62in). Handy lightweight structure as easy carrying and storing. In good condition, with some expected sign of use and repair at one leg (see photo#8) as is as seen. All fixtures in the photos are not attached...

Quadrangular vase in very thick and heavy porcelain stoneware covered with pâle blue glaze (Jun?)splashed with yellowish-brown stains (oil spots?). Interior also glazed. 118x50x75 mm Good condition, slight usual wear, no cracks or restoration. Cooking defects at the corners of the base. Possibly Jun with oil spot of the song period.

A deeply carved Chinese cinnabar seal paste box measuring about 2.75 inches diameter and 1" high. It is a superb example of early bright red cinnabar lacquer. Being 225 years old, it has been very well kept. Dates circa 1780.

1900's Chinese Silver (tested silver with silver test kit) Gold Wash Lock Pendant with Turquoise and Agate Beads Carved Necklace Marked

It is 37.8 inches (96 cm) in circumference by 17.5 inches (44.5 cm) in length. The lock is 2 inches (5 cm) long 1.4 inches (3.6 cm) wide. The agate beads range from 10.4 mm to 21 mm wide. The total weight is 118.1 gram.

Antique Chinese bronze cylindrical container on three feet. Decorated with two groups of male figures which appear to be fighting. The scenes are set under pine trees bows with puffs of swirling clouds and rocks. The rim of the container is decorated with a key fret motif. The bottom is carved with an archaic three-character mark. Very heavy bronze with beautiful patination.
