It is 8.6 inches (21.8 cm) tall by 3.7 inches (9.5 cm) wide. It is 1089 gram (2.4 Lb).

It has loss of patina, oxidation, pitting, chips at the bottom, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

Antique Chinese rare gold filigree hair ornament. Made to sit over a top knot. Shaped as an oval dome with a raised filigree back. Decorated with applied repouse lotus flowers on a backdrop of tightly spiraling filigree and inset with cabochons of jade, ruby and sapphire. Hair ornaments of this style would have been reserved for members of the royal court.

Chinese antique very beautiful small celadon glazed ceramic plate, impressed with double fish motif in center, underside with lotus motif, glaze has lovely crackles, drips and pits, a gorgeous small piece, Ming Dynasty. Size: 4 5/8" wide diameter x 1 1/4" high

Lost wax cast bronze pipe. Decoration in high relief of clouds or swirls of smoke and lotus petals. The object is massive, thick and heavy. We think it is a Khmer bronze, probably a cult object, but it may be something else altogether. What is certain is that the object is very old and that it is not a copy of the 20th century. The old patina confirms it as being several centuries old. Personally I have never seen such an object Long: 115mm

The is a Qing Dynasty YongZheng era fish plate painted using blue and copper red, there is one visible hairline otherwise in very good condition

Fine early Chinese bronze scroll weight; depicts a resting Qilin; wonderful patina; Ming Period; excellent condition

A beautiful rare etched paitong basin depicting court ladies playing chess in the center. Around the inside of the basin there are scenes of scholars, artists, falconer etc. Around the inside edge is etched the "shou" characters representing good luck and fortune. Size: Diameter: 42.5cm. Condition: No repairs. A small casting crack on the inside that does not go all the way through.

18th century netsuke of a cat resting on a large abalone shell. It is uncommon to see cats in netsuke. Finely carved, great expression on its face, beautiful flow to the bumps on abalone, superb wear to the surface, warm yellow patina (darker on the bottom where netsuke was touching the silk of kimono). Differently sized himotoshi typical for 18th century netsuke, with larger one being able to accommodate a knot. Old age lines, overall in great condition. Excellent early piece...

Antique Chinese bronze cylindrical container on three feet. Decorated with two groups of male figures which appear to be fighting. The scenes are set under pine trees bows with puffs of swirling clouds and rocks. The rim of the container is decorated with a key fret motif. The bottom is carved with an archaic three-character mark. Very heavy bronze with beautiful patination.

NETSUKE – Old man and his dog. Good and rare model of an old man, figure of chinese sage, standing and leaning to the right,, his hand on his beard and smiling wearing a beautiful large patterned robe. A dog is sitting at his feet. In the Behrens catalogue by Henri Joly, a similar exemple is represented as Wei Peh-Yang, from the Han dynasty. A fine antique Chinese 17th - 18th century Qing dynasty large bronze incense burner censer on a stand bearing 16 Chinese characters marks on the base.

A compressed globular body raised on a flaring ring foot chased with foaming waves. The sides are applied with twin fish handles. The exterior is finely hand chiseled in relief with two Qiulong horned dragons pursuing flaming pearls amidst flames and the clouds on the chased ground, bordered by two bands incised with a Greek key pattern...

Crosses may be namban (Christian) symbols or the mon (samurai family crest) of the Shimazu clan of Satsuma province. Excellent early piece with numerous perforations requiring enormous amount of work, precise detailing, gilding, wear and patina consistent with age. Height 3.06 inches, width 2.71 inches.
