This Korean antique is a hand carved woodblock which would have been used to print a repeating decorative design pattern onto a textile. It is very old, and well worn with great patina.
A 19th Century Korean kitchen jar for the storage of honey or syrup. The jar has a thick brown glaze, that thins at the edges of the cut facets, showing the lighter porcelain body of the jar. The Jar is heavily potted and measures about 4 1/2" high x 5" in diameter. The condition is very good with small chips on the inner rim and firing cracks at the bottom. There is no lid. The asking price includes shipping within the USA.
Chinese Grey Sand Stone Mortar with high relief raised Peach decoration outside, 4 1/2" high, 8" diameter on top, round shape mortar with hexagonal shape base. Couple of small stone pieces are chipped from the base.

A charming late 19th C. Chinese tea cup and saucer, displaying the traditional dragon and other design elements. The hollowed transparent holes are covered with glaze to form the ever popular rice pattern. Various symbols such as the sunburst represent the Emperor and bats for good fortune, on the underside of the teacup are various Doaist symbols. Tea cup measures 2.75" diameter x 2" high, saucer measures 4" diameter x 1" high". In excellent condition without hairlines or chips.
Copper alloy vase inlaid with precious metals, shakudo (gold and copper) shibuichi (silver, gold and copper) silver and gold. Some designs are gilded, others are solid gold. The inlays are all made of the same dovetail technique. Decorated with Phoenixes in flight, Buddhist Lions, birds and stylized flowers...

The number of boys painted–nine in total–symbolizes “eternity” or “everlasting-ness”...
A very beautiful QING DYNASTY CHINESE ANTIQUE wedding box, with a carved handle depicting figures and a metal latch/fitting around the base. Good condition overall considering the age. Gorgeous color!

A great large "sang de boeuf" (Oxblood) bottle vase. The glaze is somewhat crackled with a pattern of fine crackles. Green spots in the glaze can be seen from the coppar. A spectacular Meiji Period Satsuma vase by Kinzan I. In 2001, the Kinzan kiln was designated a National treasure by the Japanese government. The Kinzan kiln pioneered and developed unique gilding techniques, such as underglaze gold leaf. This rare vase is a wonderful example of Kinzan's mastery. Height: 10.5 inches (27cm), circumference: 21.75 inches ((55cm).
Chinese Famille Rose Porcelain covered box or jar with cover, Ca. 1850, 4 1/8" high, 4" wide-widest part, 3 7/8" diameter-top opening, drum shape box, top with raised nail head on the lower part of the box and the top. Overglaze Rose Medallion design inside the cartouches, the rest area is decorated with flowers, leaves and stylized flying bats in pink background enamel. The condition is good except very shallow flake chip the size of 1/8" wide inside the unglazed top rim area.
