Antique Chinese long altar table, made from a beautiful dark hardwood, with a dark, blackish brown finish, interesting patina on the tabletop, carved panels on both legs of a chimera, head down with its tails curled upwards amongst other swirling designs. Pierced carvings of pointed spirals adorn the undersides of the table on either side of the legs. 19th century Size: 81" length, 13.5" depth, 34" height

This 17th century carved polychrome wood head of Guan Yin (Goddess of Mercy) is 15 inches tall, 7 inches wide and 7 inches in depth. The solid teak wood base is 3 ¼ inches high, 9 inches wide and 8 ¾ inches in depth. This statue was part of the collection of a professor who spent over 20 years in China. Some of the color has come off and there is a long crack on the back of her head due to the age of this statue.

Antique Chinese wooden screen in 6 panels, carved with scenes of beautiful ladies playing different musical instruments, below each scene is a scholarly display of flowers in vases, above each scene is carved with different flowers, each end panel is carved with characters and scholar items, all edged in pierced scrolling vine motif, beautiful details through out, Republic Period. A Chinese wooden ruyi sceptre, delicately carved and pierced with trailing dragon. 19th Century. Length: 19”. In good condition with normal wear.

The two Chinese bamboo root carvings are about 12 inches tall, 5 inches wide and 4 inches thick. They came as a pair but can be displayed separately. They were carved in the late 19th century. Both depict wild geese. Their heads are turned toward a lotus and some unknown plants are behind them. The taller of the two is a little darker. Beside some small cracks and chips they are in fairly good condition.

The most important first : This piece is not from Ancient Dragon House and not from Roy Hu´s Asian Art ! A very small Song Junyao bowl with slightly rounded sides and incurved rim covered with a grayish-blue glaze with an very nice splash of purplish-red to the interior of the bowl. The glaze thinning at the rim to a buff tone. The base is unglazed and is burnt reddish in the firing. Northern Song Dynasty (1127-1279) Diameter: 6,3 cm...

This is a rare late Ming dynasty (1368~1615) carved bamboo statue. It depicts a bearded warrior on a horse. The rider¡¯s head is raised up, eyes wide open; his left arm is gently holding the bridle. The tired horse has turned its head toward its master. It is a superb carving and in great condition despite its age. H: 12 inches, L: 7 inches, W: 6 inches

Antique Chinese table, made from huanghuali with a beautiful, glowing grain. Around its sides are carved spirals designs over a large border panel. The front and back panels are carved with the calligraphy symbol for double happiness in between two dragons with clouds of billowing smoke around their bodies and two phoenixes flying on either side. The table's side panels are without dragons but otherwise the same with carved double happiness symbol and smoke detailing...
