19th century staghorn ojime (slide bead for tightening the cord going from netsuke to inro) carved as a dog seated on its haunches, its front paws at its chest and wearing a collar. Excellent clever carving, great face, eyes are highlighted with ink, wonderful warm patina. Height 3/4 inches.

Antique Chinese ruyi scepter made of hardwood and three carved sections of white jade. The upper section is carved with a scene of two boys and an elephant. The middle section of jade is carved with two boys holding a large vase with flowers. The bottom piece of jade is carved with three recumbent goats, one of which holds in his mouth a curved and swirling ruyi mushroom. The scepter sits on a custom silk covered base which then sits on a carved rectangular hardwood stand...

The bowl has very unusual design of Tea ceremony utensil and stationary type objects done in Sometsuke(blue underglaze), red and gold accented. There are four windows, two designs. Between the window design accented with gold lines. Outside has sort of fuyote type divided decoration. The condition of bowl is excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairline...

This pointed bone splitter tool from the Bill Peterson Collection and ex-Jim Bennett is 5" L, including a 2" glued piece. It was found in Kentucky and shows incredible patina. It has a drilled hole for suspension. It is just a really neat bone tool in unusual form. It has been preserved with an Elmer's glue mix which many old collections used. I will hate to see this one go.

Authentic Han stove with green glaze and original wok. Han stoves usually have items of food and cooking items on top of the stove. Size: 22cm X 16cm X 16cm Condition; Some age cracks and some loss of the glaze from long burial.

18th century Chinese bronze sculpture of a running boy holding a Precious Gem in his raised hand. Unusual image, wonderful casting and detailing - see his smiling face and knots of his robe. Excellent warm patina, 200 years worth of compressed dust on the surface, pleasantly heavy. Fixed to a beautifully carved hardwood stand. Very nice object for scholar’s desk. A very rare ancient jadeite pendant with a hole carved in the center to make it into a pendant. This green jadeite only comes from Burma. Size: 2cm x 1.8cm

Miyako-jofu woman's kimono with fine kasuri which is hand-woven of choma (ramie) and dyed with Ryukyu-ai. Wefts and warps are hand plied. Miyako-jofu has been woven in Miyako Island in Okinawa since 14th century. It was called "Satsuma-jofu" in Edo period as the island belonged to Satsuma feudal domain. It was imposed as tax. It is time-consuming process of thread making, thread plying, weaving as matching wefts and warps kasuri pattern...

A beautifully colored mottled nephrite jade disc (sword-pommel) in colors of cream, rust and grey. In the center is a small hole encircled by flower petals. A double-lined rim borders the outer rim of the petals. A band of C-curl patterns extend to the double-lined outer rim. The surface of reverse side has a couple of cleavage planes natural to the stone. Size: Diameter: 2-3/16" Condition: No chips or repairs.

A good luck natural amber pendant with a carving of a monkey and the reversed side a carving of a bird (Phoenix). Size: H. 4.8cm W. 3.0cm. Condition: No repairs, chips or cracks.

A elegant lacquerware for monastery use. Made in Kyaukka, in the lower Chindwin District in Burma, made from woven matting and coiled bamboo and lacquered in black and red. This piece has seven sections. These original Kyaukka pieces are difficult to come by. Size: H. 38cm. W. 40cm. Condition: All original. Some minor chips and one small piece re-glued on. See photo.

A Kashmir papier-mache vase with polychrome and gold lacquer decoration in the Mughal style. Showing couple of birds on a mille-fleurs ground or a golden feather pattern, framed by a mihrab border. The sides with two small handles in the shape of tiger heads. Condition: some chips and losses to the lacquer. Dimension: c. 22.8 cm high.

A very rare jadeite pendent with an ancient gold repair on BOTH SIDES of the pendant. The drilled hole also has a gold tube inserted in it. From southern China which is now Southeast Asia. Size: 2.1cm x 1.7cm.

I purchased this unique antler wedge or chisel from Jim Bennett. It has fabulous patina and is scored/grooved on the sides. It is 5 3/8" and was found near Wakemap Mound on the long narrows of the Columbia River, Oregon in the 1950's by Charlie Mitchell. A very rare and unique piece.

Tea bowl of irregular shape. Deep dark brown clay covered in a greenish-gray glaze that leaves the bottom part of the bowl uncovered. The inside in the same tone with a brown patch. The rim covered with a brownish-green glaze. One looped line decoration in brownish green on the outside. A small patch at the inside of the bowl left uncovered...
