Hemispheric seal with a wonderful free carving in a drill style of birds in a highly attractive and rare stone for the period. Pronounced collar round the ends of the perforations. This particular feature is rarely seen on such a large Uruk seal.

Vase in the shape of a fish. Iron inlaid with gold and silver. Turquoise stone detail and red eye, either glass or ruby. On the reverse, a tie was soldered to the pewter later to be able to suspend it and thus make it a wall vase. But it seems to me that the object was simply made to be placed on a table. The silver inlays are very numerous, but oxidized in black, they have become almost invisible, however they are clearly distinguishable on the enlargements...

A large elaborate bronze cloak pin, cast via the lost wax (cire perdue) process with poppy flower shaped terminal.
Used to fasten clothes, in this case due to the unusually heavy fabric and decoration, likely leather for presentation use - perhaps for a very thick cape or leather armor. The lower terminal decorated with knobs and 3 spikes.

A pair of silver bowls with great potential for repairing, Sasanian, c. 3td.-6th. century AD.
Lot includes a hammered bowl with fine decoration in repousé and a larger crack and loss, plus another hammered bowl without decor with a small crack and loss. Both bowls are hammered in rather thin silver and uncleaned with some green encrustation.
A nice lot that can be much more valuable when finely restored!

An ancient-medieval bronze bowl of the high tin content 'white bronze' type with engravings of the Gaznavids, dating to c. 10th-11th. century AD.
A massive bowl, likely a food bowl for really large parties. The interior of the bowl is almost completely covered with fine azurite patina and when cleaned would reveal the fine design of incised circles-dots (bulls-eye) and perhaps hexacons as well; the exterior is cleaned and plain.

An ancient Jemdet Nasr cylinder seal from the famous Erlenmeyer collection.
This is a typical Jemdet Nasr cylinder seal of the "seated women“ or „pigtailed“ group and are often made of red or pinkish limestone.
The amulet was bought from Galerie Günter Puhze and will come with their CoA.

A very attractive bronze bull, standing on it's stout legs and with a oversize hump and pierced through the body. Highly unusual this detailed and in the impressive size!

Condition: Superb for type, with very nice metal and great mottled green patina.

A finely made bronze Phalera or medallion, Roman, 1st.-3rd. century AD.
The medallion depicts the head of a bridled horse and was likely military related as something you would wear in the legions.

Condition: Choice and intact with a fine mottled light green patina.
