A beautiful Chinese cloisonne enamel vase with eight treasures & two dragons motif in excellent condition. H:12"

Rare Chinese form, this Chinese chalice is from the late Qing Dynasty period. The dome shaped lid is topped with a gold finial. The surface of the piece is covered with cloisonne pattern. There is a floral design in black and brown which is offset against a background filled with a fretwork pattern. The chalice with its matching lid stands 9 inches tall.

The metal bottom of the chalice is stamped with the word China. This dates the piece between 1890 and 1914. It was the U.S...

This is a charming old cloisonne teapot from the later part of the Qing Dynasty in China. During this time period the traditions and culture of tea making and drinking had evolved to include the appreciation of tea articles as art objects in addition to their utilitarian purposes. This well crafted miniture teapot would have been sought after for its sculptural form.

A very beautiful cloisonne candy box, uniquely colored in both red and yellow; both symbolical of Chinese culture. The collar and shoulder are decorated with the highly stylized bat or ruyi cloud pattern, as well as the surrounding portion of the handle knob, along with floral and tendril foliage. Good condition, with a few tiny nicks, but hardly worth mentioning, save for accuracy sake. Original patina and antique charm well preserved, size 18 cm diameter or 7" and 6 cm or 2.5" high...

With long neck, made of bronze and decorated with painted color enamel of four stylized panels revealing birds, butterflies and flowers motifs, the rest is decorated with floral scrolls on yellow background.

This is a small mid Qing dynasty bronze cloisonné censer with an elongated body. It is design in the likeness of those in the Ming dynasty, with lotus flowers band and scrolling foliages. On the shoulder of the cloisonné, it is decorated all round with a band ruyi with red and blue colour...

A rare pair of Chinese cloisonne enamel 'holy water' bottles, Qianlong/Jiaqing, c. 1800. Height 23 cms. Iron-red decorated porcelain bottles of this shape were made in the Qianlong reign as gifts to Tibetan monks. In cloisonne, however, they are much rarer. The only pair to have come on the market in recent times were sold at Christie's New York, 18.9.2014, for USD 23,750. A single example was sold in Christie's Paris, 8.6.2010, lot 242.

Heavily cast. 830g. I have seen this design on a couple of moon flasks, but never on a deep bowl such as this.

Qianlong, 18th century. 23 cms diam. One small area of restoration to the white on the back of the rim. Otherwise in good condition bar the odd usual stress crack.

Chinese cloisonné and bronze figure of a standing cockerel. Flourishes of elaborate plumage are decorated with scrolling vines and tiny circles of colorful enamel on a turquoise blue ground. The feet of the rooster are connected to the lid of an oval shaped box which is decorated to match the cloisonné on the body of the rooster.

A stunning Chinese porcelain Dayazhai-type jar grisaille painted with yellow ground. The monochromatic imagery of black and grey peonies against a yellow enamel ground scrolls around the body under a band of ruyi heads below a band of key-fret. With descriptive tag on the base "From the Hall of Embodied Harmony". There is also a Museum Porcelain Exhibition tag. An 18th Century sectional sweet meat dish, finely painted with two Chilong (Chi dragons) among stylized scrolling lotus and made in Canton (Guangzhou), southern China, during the reign of the Qianlong emperor (1736-1795).

Condition: very good.

A Set of Three Small Thai Market Chinese Canton Enamel Cosmetic Boxes 19thC The dark blue enamel with gilt decoration. The interiors with turquoise enamel and the bases with paler blue. Two boxes with composition finials. Chinese 19thC. Diameters: 6.2, 5.3 and 4.1 cm. Condition: some wear to gilding, minor small chips and a flake. The actual colour of the enamel is darker than in the images.

The quality of this small elephant is excellent. Standing foursquare with head turned to one side. The body and the separately cast reliquary - monstrance inlaid, brightly enameled, multi coloured and richly ornamented. Nineteenth century or a little bit earlier. L : 14,8 cm. H : 19,4 cm Condition : Excellent with no damage. The reliquary - monstrance incomplete ( please see the last enlargement ).

The lid of the box is hinged, it has an auspicious symbol in the middle of the box. The box is supported by four small round metal feet, the underside is sky blue.
