Early People’s Republic of China molded, green glass vase (emulating celadon jade) and in the style of a Han Dynasty Hu, circa 1960 to 1970. Although millions of decorative items were produced during this period very little has survived to this day, especially anything made of glass. This piece is “as new” condition, with the original label, no damage whatsoever. Today it is easier to find original Han Hu then one of these. H: 28cm/11in and D: 20cm/7.9in.

This brilliant turquoise dish is molded with a multi-lobed well and flat rim, the edge of which has been polished. The base is flat and carries an incised “China” mark at the center. It is in good condition.

Statue of Kuan Yin, wearing a robe and a cape, sitting in "regal repose" on a dais surmounting a stylised lotus. Kuan yin is holding a scroll on her left hand and a small ball on her right hand. Glass, with remnants of soil encrustations. China, Qing Dynasty, early 19th century, maybe earlier. Height: 11.3 cm. Small chip at the back of right hand otherwise very good condition.

Statue, made of glass, representing Buddha Sakyamuni_ sitting cross-legged on an elevated lotus throne, his head backed by an aureola, holding a scroll (symbolizing the Buddhist Book of The Law) in his right hand. China, early 19th century. Height: 15.2 cm. Accident at shoulder level (restored), otherwise good condition.

This is a pair of glass bowls with saucers that are of a deep, even amethyst tone with high translucency. The pieces are molded, then turned, having highly polished interiors. The two bowls have well-carved pronounced footrings. The backs of the saucers retain the mold shapes, but with a glossy polish.

Water pot of squat, ovoid form with a narrow foot and slight depression of a base. The even lavender-blue tone of the glass is translucent in strong light and is well-polished on the interior as well as the exterior. Such items as this were essential for the scholar's desk and are more often seen in ceramics than in Beijing glass. There are a few areas of abrasion and scratches from use and some light wear to the foot area...

Quirky glass ring emulating agate. This piece came from China but possibly is a trade object. I acquired this in a lot of other ancient pieces. A conservative dating to this is Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) and guarantees it to this period. There is one crack as well as some bubble burst pitting on the surface. Outer D: 2.8cm and inner D: 1.9cm.

19th Century Chinese Rock Crystal Carved Lohan & Fu Dog Lion with Silver Inlay Wood Stand

It is 8 inches (20.3 cm) tall measured with stand and 6.1 inches (15.5 cm) tall measured without stand by 4.3 inches (11 cm) wide. The crystal weighs by itself is 2.1. Total weight including stand is 2.4 lb.

The other side is painted with a man pulling a carriage for a beautiful woman and a young boy. Above this scene are some illegible markings in Chinese. A very rare scroll weight resp. paper weight made from glass and painted with a very pleasing romantic landscape . This painting is done in a typical Qianlong manner on a opaque white glaze and is covered with a thick layer of transparent glaze. Qianlong Period ( 1736 - 1795 ) On the back side of the piece is something like a very small signature which can be seen on the last enlargement. L : 17,5 cm. B : 3,3 cm. H : 1,2 cm. Condition : Perfect.

Skillfully painted on the interior with a scene of a mountainous landscape with waterfalls and scholars’ residences, loosely in the manner of the late Ming/early Ching artist, Wang Jian.

The transparent glass is slightly grayish in tone and the vase’s interior has been evenly ground to create a frosted background to the painting. The artist was probably a professional snuff bottle painter.

Authentic Antique Chinese, late Qing Dynasty, large handmade opaque white Peking Glass- Beijing Glass bowl of lobed flower head form, with quatrefoil rim and raised indented foot. The bowl has a bumpy and very shiny surface except for the center of the base which has a matte finish.

Glass charm emulating white nephrite Jade inscribed with delicate Arabic verses from the Koran on both sides. This set is in silver with a copper loop to hold on a chord. I bought this in Hong Kong so original provenance is unknown- possibly from the Xinjiang, Turkic Uyghur speaking area. Each bowl is set on a low, carved footring with a slightly recessed base. The rim gently flares and thin toward the edge. The interiors are fire-polished, and the exterior walls are hand-polished. Each is in good condition with some small bubbles visible.

Belt hook, or fibula, made of glass, with a finely detailed decoration in relief, largely influenced by the Warring States Period style, and representing, from top to bottom, first a large dragon head, then two chimeras side by side, then, at the end, a large tiger head. Nicely incised knob at the back. China, Qing Dynasty, 18th century, maybe earlier. Length: 19.8 cm. Remnants of soil encrustations. Very good condition. A very rare object.

A small Peking glass vase done on a white base with polychrome color enamel decorated on the surface. The vase is invoking fencai porcelains and the motifs and patterns used on the vase are often seen in porcelains.
