A Tibetan bronze flaying knife or chopper with a curved steel blade used in rituals by Buddhist Vajrayana priests. The flayer was a symbolic instrument and never used to really chop or flay people. Hence, the blade is dull. The blade has oxidized on both sides and there is some verdigris inside the top of the handle. Measures 6.75 inches x 7" high. Dates 1800's.

This is a BEAUTY. This BRONZE QUAN YIN is Mounted on a Hardwood Base and measures 6 7/8" in height overall; the BUST itself is 4 1/2" tall X 3" wide. Asian Calligraphy mark on the back.
