A rare and unusually large 19th c bronze handwarmer or incense burner, with a circular ribbed body, leather covered handles, and a magnificent reticulated cover feat...

A Chinese Bronze Censer figure of buffalo and the figurine, Qing Dynasty. The figure of buffalo length approximately 12.6 cm and height approximately 7 cm. There's an old repaired at the one of buffalo horn. Decorated silver wire inlaid. The figurine height approximately 7.8 cm. Decorated silver wire inlaid. The figurine has few cracks around 1 cm (2 parts) and few small chips at the bottom.

1850-1900

Having a single bail handle, the reticulated lid fits snugly and is very well cut with a design of geometric and floral patterns. The patina is of a warm, silvery tone showing the expected evidence of use and wear.

19th century repousse Chinese gilded copper sew-on clothing ornament He He Twins, also known as the Heavenly twins, or the Two Saints of Harmony. During Qing Dynasty such metal figures of traditional mythical characters were sewn onto clothing and hats for decoration. Nicely made, small holes around perimeter for sewing onto clothes. Height 1.57 inches.

Old buddhist altar representing Buddha and two bodhisattvas, each one standing on a lotus and backed by a mandorla, the whole group surmounted by the Buddhist Flaming Pearl and resting on a double lotus. Apocryphal reign mark beneath (Emperor Qian Long). Bronze with fine age patina. China, late 19th century. Height: 17 cm. Very good condition.

A Chinese Bronze Censer, Qing Dynasty. Diameter approximately 10.2 cm. There is a 7 mm hairline at the rim. In good condition.

Decorated with Taotie Masks and a very nice Zhou-Style Birds-decoration in low relief against a leiwen-ground with traces of Gilding. Qing Dynasty or earlier. More detailed conclusions concerning the date of the piece might express the mark resp. the signature to the base of the vase. H : 24,3 cm. Condition : Perfect.

A Pair of Chinese Bronze Vase from Qing Dynasty. They have four character mark. Nice patina. In good condition. One vase has a dent on the body (see picture 1A) and have some hair lines crack on the rim (check picture 1C). The other vase has a hair line about 2 cm (see picture 1B). This nicely executed silver alloy tea pot is a late-19th century product. It is 8” high (9 ½” high with handle extended) and 9” wide at the spout. The body is 6 ¼” wide. The famous 8 immortals and their symbols appear over the entire hexagonal body and cover. The spout is the shape of a mythical animal, PiXie. The knob on the cover of the teapot is a seated PiXie. There is an honorable mark “Great Qing Qian Long” stamped on the bottom. It is in great condition.

Note the Hair "Pulled and Tied" in the back. This BRONZE QUAN YIN is from a Virginia Estate of Asian Atrifacts and ANTIQUES. Date this piece circa 1900, perhaps earlier, and in Excellent Condition.

During Qing Dynasty silver figures of traditional mythical characters were sewn onto hats for decoration. Beautifully made, crisp detailing of the beast and different plants around the base, will look much better once tarnish is cleaned. Weight 6.1 grams, height 1.37 inches.
