An exceptional large and massive bronze 'Mat' weight, Chinese, Han Dynasty, c. 206 BC – 220 AD.

This weight which is probably dating to the Eastern Han, 25-220 AD, depicts a fancyful reclining animal, probably a Dog. Cast in bronze with fine archaic features and a round object at the right hind leg, which could be symbolizing a cash coin.
The beast was finely gilded and plated in antiquity and much of the gold is still visible on the surface...

Cast in high-tin and low-lead bronze by the lost wax method, this mirror has a dark and lustrous patina known as heiqigu (literally “black lacquer antique”). It bears a design of a coiling dragon among trailing clouds...

Ancient Chinese horse snaffle bridle-bit, Eastern Zhou Dynasty, Spring and Autumn period (770-476 BC).

Made of bronze bit with a mouthpiece composed of two canons connected in the center, each cast with a loop at both ends.

He is seated in dhyanasana on a separate lotus throne, right hand in the bhumisparsha mudra, the left in his lap, he is dressed in a richly pleated robe with engraved borders, the chest engraved with a swastika indicating the Bön tradition...

A Pair of bronze Coins was issued by Wang Mang 王莽 of the short-lived Xin dynasty新朝（AD9年－23年） 。
The 'hanging needle' script on the coin is special.

A lovely little Chinese bronze belthook, dating to early Han Period, ca. 200 BC-9 AD.

The belthook decorated with scrollwork on the front and has a central knob on the back. Wonderful azurite blue and green patina.

This is a very rare round hole coin known as a Yuan, as identified by the single character on the right. Yuan was a city in the state of Liang in ancient China. This coin has not been acid treated nor artificially aged, it is well worn and has the verdigris that is natural and impossible to scrape off by conventional means. These range in size and weight from 41.2 to 43 mm, and range 8.8 to 10.7 grams). Condition is fine. Date: about 300 B.C.E. Warring states period...
