Antique Chinese porcelain bowl of a thin form, with gilt rim and yellow enamel inner rim with peaches and lucky bats. The inside center has a red dragon with gilt accenting. The outer body of the bowl has two colorful powder blue and pink-red dragons flying over waters. The bottom of the bowl is marked Guangxu period (1875-1908). Very small loss on rim. A BLUE AND WHITE 'IMMORTALS' BOWL GUANGXU SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1875-1908) The small, deep bowl is decorated on the exterior with the Eight Immortals standing on clouds from which issues vapor that separates the figures. The interior is painted with a central medallion of Shoulao seated with two other immortals beneath a pine tree. 4¼ in. (10.9 cm.) diam. Condition : Perfect.

A rare small wine cup painted with stylized lotus scrolls in underglaze blue. The base carries the six character mark of the Guangxu emperor and it was made during his reign (1875-1908). A rare set of hors d'oeuvres (nut or sweet) dishes, in fitted hardwood box, painted in black ink in Qianjiang style. The bases of the nine dishes are unglazed. This set was probably made in the second half of the 19th Century during the reign of either the Tongzhi (1863-1874)or the Guangxu emperor (1875-1908). Condition - very good - no chips,cracks or restoration, but, as is common with Qianjiang painting on porcelain, there is wear to the overglaze decoration of the dishes...

A six-sided porcelain wine pot warmer painted in Qianjiang style with a scene on one side from a Chinese opera relating to stories from the Three Kingdoms period. On the other side is a poem which we have, as yet, been unable to read. It is signed and dated to 1903. Guangxu marks, 1875-1908

The exterior of each bowl is decorated with nine butterflies in flight in brilliant funcai enamels. The lower portion of the bowls just above the footring is encircled by a band of lappet panels, and below the rim of each is a Greek key band all in the same enamel palette. The interiors are undecorated, and glazed with the same even, white glaze as the exteriors. The bowls rest on a raised footring...
