A very rare early Ming 15th century Chenghua blue and white human bowl, rounded side with flared rim, straight foot and glazed base, bowl outer wall decorated with fine under glaze blue of four standing human motif, inner center also with a human motif.
Bowl is in good condition no chip, no crack, no restoration, porcelain good ping sound with finger tip, nice blue tone color motif.

Guangxu mark and period, 1875-1908
The interior is well-painted in various colors of overglaze enamels, having a central Shou medallion surrounded by four auspicious characters rendered in gold with red outlines on a white ground. The reverse is painted with two flower sprays over the clear glaze which covers all but the exposed footring. The six-character Guangxu mark is painted in two vertical lines in dark red enamel. The yellow enamel has some areas of light wear from use...

This pair of Guang Xu Period (1875~1908) Guan Yao ¡°Imperial Kiln¡± fruit stands are 2 ¾ inches tall and 9 ¼ inches in diameter. They depict black and white sparrow and flowers on a turquoise background. They have three separate floral designs on the back of the stands and a black lace like design on the foot. There are a few tiny chips on the rims and the color has slightly rubbed off. Four old repairs close to the rim two on each stand.

This vase is decorated in overglaze enamels over an imperial yellow enamel ground. The base has an apocryphal six-character Kangxi mark in underglaze blue. Two stylized handles glazed in coral enamel decorate the neck. The base and interior are glazed white. The footring is unglazed. It is in good condition. Acquired from the collection of Evangeline Johnson of the Robert Wood Johnson family.
