The sides cavetto with block diapers, medallions and roundels still in original state enamels survived from Ming dynasty early 17th century. A charming late 19th C. Chinese tea cup and saucer, displaying the traditional dragon and other design elements. The hollowed transparent holes are covered with glaze to form the ever popular rice pattern. Various symbols such as the sunburst represent the Emperor and bats for good fortune, on the underside of the teacup are various Doaist symbols. Tea cup measures 2.75" diameter x 2" high, saucer measures 4" diameter x 1" high". In excellent condition without hairlines or chips.

A small teapot and lid, Kangxi period, c 1700. Painted - clobbered - probably in Holland for the European market, in iron red, green, pink, black and gilt over the original under-glaze blue decoration. The base with a pseudo-Chinese seal mark in iron red. Height, including lid "4 1/2/ 11 cm. Condition: repair to the lid (cf. photos), otherwise fine.

Chinese Green Porcelain Pen or Brush Holder. The green glaze has an "oil on water" effect and gives an excellent impression. The shape of a table makes it rare and interesting. Just simply stunning, this beautiful Chinese Asian celadon vase dates to the 14th century, it is in perfect shape save a small piece of broken shard that attached itself when some other vessel exploded in the kiln. Other than that, no cracks, hairlines, or other damage is found. Notice the comb lines and well potted sleek. Measures 4 inches high and about 2.5" at widest.

Chinese Porcelain red glazed bowl dating to the 20th Century. The bowl has a maker's mark on the bottom and added spot drilled markings on the interior. The bowl appears to be a communal eating bowl with an owners marking. The interior mark translates to "battle ax" which may indicate it was used by a military man.
