A beautifully and well shaped Song Dynasty (960 - 1276 A.D) jarlet with glazed lobed body and two ear handle at the top. The right ear is not well glazed

The measurement of the stem cup is: Height 10.3cm and the diameter (base) is 5.2cm

Yuan dynasty (1277-1367) cizhou style iron brown floral motif stem cup.

Some repair works. Possible re-attachment between the cup and the stem and at the mid-section part of stem (refer to photograph number 5). There are also some firing faults, expected degradation, chips & minor losses, abrasions, as a consequence of long period of burial and subsequent cleaning.

The measurement of the stem cup is: Height 9.1cm and the diameter is 9.0cm.

Description: A rare tripod steatite censer was made in Tang dynasty. With dark gray tone, this censer was excavated with light gray incursions. A globular body was held by three foot in beautiful proportions. An earlier collection was published in " Early Chinese Miniature" by China Institute in America. Date: Tang Dynasty (AD618-906) Material: Steatite. Body Width: 6.5cm Height: 4.7cm Condition: Good, except one small scratch.

This Sui Dynasty (581~618) yellow burial horse is 10 1/2” high, 11 ¾” long and 5 ¾” wide. It depicts a battle horse wearing a leather saddle and a draped saddle cloth. Aside from an old repair on the tail and part of the neck, it is in great condition.

Large Han Dynasty (206 BC - 220 AD) stoneware jar with two loop handles incised with a leaf pattern. Above each handle is a rectangular appliqued ogre mask cartouche. Circa 1st century B.C. Measures about 9"H x 9 1/2" diameter. Above the waist, the vase is decorated with three sets of three raised incised line bands running around the circumference. Very rare pair of Yuan Dynasty Qingbai completely glazed jars with phoenix lids. These are high fired porcelain quality white bodied Jingdezhen wares with “iron rust” splashes and quirky applique figures. One is slightly larger than the other but both are from the same kiln and period. H: 40cm/15.8in x D:18cm/7in and H: 37cm/14.6in and D: 17.5cm/6.9in. Rare image of a Qilin Chinese "unicorn" with stunning deep aquamarine Qingbai glaze. This is a fragment of a much larger piece, possibly a finial off a censer. H: 9.5cm/3.9in, W: 7cm/2.8in x 4.5cm/1.8in. The sculpture is in excellent condition, there is a film of hardpacked soil in the crevices which can be (see enlargements), this can be removed with a small blade with a bit of effort, soaking it in water for a week or so will help. I am leaving it on as it speaks to the age of this piece...

Chinese Jin to Yuan dynasty Cizhou oval form stoneware wine bottle with four lug handles below the short, everted rim. The upper body is covered in a creamy white crackled slip and is separated from the lower iron-brown section by a narrow horizontal band. The unglazed base is covered in grit from the kiln. 11 3/4” high. Circa 12th to 13th century. Very good overall condition with typical wear and production flaws...

Chinese late Tang dynasty to Five Dynasties period stoneware ewer with high shoulder tapering down to a slightly flared foot and flat base, the short neck ending in a slightly wider rolled mouth. A double-strand handle connects to the neck and shoulder, and a short straight spout is opposite the handle. The ewer is covered overall in a thin layer of white slip with a wavy ribbon or rope motif that ends well above the unglazed base. 7 1/2" high...

Chinese Tang dynasty (618-907) Lushan kiln tripod stoneware coupe with two thin upright handles covered entirely in a dark brown speckled glaze apart from the lower part of the unglazed feet. A large phosphatic splash is on both the front and back. Small bosses are spread around the circumference of the widest part of the body to imitate bronze examples. 6 1/4” diameter by 4 1/4" high...

A Chinese, Cizhou-type, brown glazed wine bottle of a round shape; Jin to Yuan dynasty. Possibly from a kiln in Henan province. Dimensions; 19.5 cm tall. Condition; good condition with appropriate, age related, wear. A minor restoration to a lip chip.

A Southern Chinese or Vietnamese bowl, covered all-over with a pale celadon glaze. This bowl dates to the C14-15th; or before. Quite delicately potted; gently rising from it's low, unglazed, foot to a slightly everted rim. Diameter; 13.5 cm. Condition; In presentable condition wih nice glaze qulaity, there are a couple of small nibble to the underside of the rim, and also the the foot. More photos are available upon request.

A Chinese, celadon, twin-fish dish from the Longquan kiln; Southern Song to Yuan dynasty. Carved with a lotus-petal design to the exterior, and covered all-over in a beautiful sea-green glaze, apart from the outer base which has burnt reddish. Dimensions; 12cm diameter. Conditions; good. no chips or cracks.

A Chinese, yellow glazed, caparisoned horse; C6-7th AD, Sui to early Tang dynasty. A lively figure of a prancing horse. Dimensions; 18cm tall, 20cm long. Condition; please ask for additional photos to satisfy yourself as to condition. The figure has had broken and restored legs, with some associated over-painting. It is in a restored, but very presentable condition, with age realted wear.

A Chinese, qingbai, bowl incised with a sponaneous 4floral design; Song dynasty. The rim of the bowl is notched to give the impression of six petals. Overall covered in a greenish glaze, except for the outer base and foot-rim. Likely from Fujian province. Dimensions; 17.8 cm diameter. Condition; there is some wear to the glaze, a few small rim chips, and a couple of short hairlines from the rim. It has a resonant tone when tapped.
