Simply elegant wood panel depicting a bird perched on a rock beneath plum blossom in the background there are mountains and trees. The carving is in perfect condition with traces of original blue pigment- please note the delicacy in which the bird’s legs were carved as well as the bare trees beneath the mountains and bracken ferns at the bottom of the foothill (if you use your imagination they look like high rise apartments). Small deer in cast bronze. The animal is shown lying down. It's a roe,stag or maybe a deer. Very good quality of sculpture. The perfection of the volumes, the search for detail and the neat finish are similar to those that we admire on the Netsuké. This little deer must be a Japanese work rather than a Chinese one, it is impossible to date it with exactness. Probably Edo or earlier. The deer was the protector of Buddhism. 85mm x 54mm

Size: 23 cm high. weight ; 8 1/4 oz. two maker's stamps in Chinese characters on the base. It reads YUAN BEI which was an artisan workshop in Tianjin. The middle set of marks reads"wen yen" meaning "cash silver" and indicating a standard similar to Sterling...

This is an authentic Sung Dynasty Vase with flora pattern design moulded on it, it in quite a good condition except some minor chips on the mouth rim and it has no repair, no crack....glaze is a bit degraded because of burial and natural corrosion, thanks for looking and feel free to enquire.....

This is a Western Jin Dynasty yueh yao of dark olive green glazed "chicken head" or also commonly known as "cock head" ewer. Slightly of gobular body with two lug handles and a spout in the form of chicken's head with a neck. It has a looped slender handle and a averted mouth rim. The dark olive glazed stopped before the foot-rim exposing the red stoneware earth. The flatten base is slightly shrinking inward.
Generally in good condition. No repair, chip or restoration...
