Exceptional Chinese highly carved cabinet made entirely of solid Huanghuali wood, carved with vases and flower arrangements, scrolling vines and key fret motif, two compartments closed with cabinet doors, three small drawers in the middle. Republic Period.

This 19th century nephrite carving of a fisherman is 3 ¼” high, 2 ¼” wide and 1 ¾” thick. It depicts an old smiling fisherman. His right hand is holding a mulberry branch; his left hand is holding his beard. His straw hat is hanging on his back. He has two fish tied to the ends of the branch and is attempting to put them into a basket at his feet. It is in great condition.

This is a Liao dynasty (907A.D - 1125 A.D) green glazed moulded pumpkin shaped covered box. The top and bottom of the covered box is moulded in sysmetrical lotus design. A very beautiful piece.

Condition:
Generally in good condition. Minor abrasion. There is no chip, crack, glaze crazing, repair or any restoration.

A well carved bamboo covered box in the shape of a bamboo brush pot ( bitong ) with a decoration of Phoenix and Scholars. Qing Dynasty, nineteenth century. H : 16,2 cm. Diameter : 13,2 cm. Condition : Nice patina. There is a easy to repair dry-crack to the shoulder of the lid. The box itself is in perfect condition.
