Lovely hand silk embroidered alter “skirt” with the Eight Chinese Immortals and three double happiness roundels at the top. I recently acquired this with a group of other vintage textiles; this is in perfect condition with a lovely palate of colors. Late 20th century, this would have been hung in in front of a temple altar table’s legs. H: 100cm/40in x W: 94cm/37in. Appears never to have been used.
Antique Chinese jadeite carving of a young boy kneeling on his stomach, holding a small dish. He has a pleased expression with wonderfully carved fingers and toes, etched hair, and a smooth form.

Rare, very rugged leather tobacco box from the Bai ethnic group in Yunnan, China. This was purchased in rural Yunnan at a Bai market, near Dali over 20 years ago. One can assume this craft is no longer being done with the availability of cheap plastic items as well as the migration of artisans to better paying jobs in the city. This is a fine, flattened, vase shape, snowflake Glass snuff bottle, overlaid with Ruby-Red colored glass, carved in the form of an oval plate placed on both sides of the bottle, with side bars. It has an elongated neck with wide mouth, and a flat foot that has been carved with the Chinese Longevity symbol: Shou. It comes with an amber colored agate stopper...
DESCRIPTION: A long, six-sided Chinese ink stick with nicely detailed dragon and phoenix curling about the surface. Short, impressed Chinese inscriptions are found on two sides. One of the four treasures of the scholar's studio, ink sticks (or cakes) would be carefully ground by the scholar and mixed with water on an inkstone to paint calligraphy or scrolls with a brush. This black ink stick is in good antique condition. DIMENSIONS: 6 1/2" long (16.5 cm) x 1 1/4" diameter (3.2 cm).

Gorgeously hand carved out, this antique peking glass has a beautiful egg yolk colored background that is hand polished with deep aubergine, and delicate visible brush strokes, modeling the fine craftmanship. Washer is covered with two stylized bats, a good fortune Shaou design, and Chinese coin design wishing good wealth. A beautiful Tang dynasty changsa stoneware bowl with an abstract plant/weed motive, with long thin leaves all painted in green and iron brown colour. A very artistic, creative and free hand drawing in an abstarct form. The changsa bowl stand on a short footrim with a recess base. The glaze stop about three quarter way down, exposing the light pinkish buff clay. A must have piece for the discerning collector...
This tripod Chinese incense burner is an early 19th century product. It is 8 ¾” high and 8” wide (measured from both handles). The three legs are the form of Chinese mystical beast’s 饕餮 (Tao Tie) face and claws. The two handles are the image of Pi Xiu 貔貅 and the top is a form of Foo Lion. The body is covered with floral designs; cloud patterns appear on the top rim of the burner. There is an honorable “Qian Long Nian Made” mark on the bottom...
A very nice thinly potted porcelain dish. The underglaze decoration drawn by using a very nice cobalt blue shows a motive that is typical for the Chenghua period.
Ming Dynasty, Chenghua period ( 1465 - 1487 ) Jingdezhen ware.

Condition : Actually perfect - there are 2 very minute chips to the rim but these chips are very old resp. most probably from the time when the dish was produced ( please have a look at the last 2 enlargements ) Nice " ping " tone when tapped.
A Tang Changsha bowl from batu hitam shipwreck belitung, bowl decorate with brown and green color with scroll and fire works motif.
Bowl is in good condition with some degradation glaze at the rim, no chip, no crack, no restoration.
