This is a nice & large pair of Japanese cloisonné vase crafted a fierce fire dragon on each vase with a blue sky background. The cloisonné vases are done with fine silver wires...

Cloisonne enamel vase on hammered copper base. The meticulously positioned wires are in silver, as are the borders. The decor is simple, showing a bridge between two hills but exceptional because of its historical interest. Indeed it is a vase commemorating the bold construction of an aqueduct by a Japanese electricity company in the 1900s. The Chinese characters written below must relate the event, date it and also probably give the name of the creative artist or that of the enameling workshop...

This is a signed late Meiji 7.25" silver wired olive green cloisonne vase portraying a rooster, hen and chick among chrysanthemums of two varieties.

Condition: Negligible pitting, no chips, cracks, or repairs.

This is a rare example of a Japanese cloisonne teapot done in the Kyoto style. This piece is in amazing condition for it age. The pot measures 6 1/2 inches across and 6 inches tall with the handle up.

Unsigned, this 9.5" vase was attributed to Gonda Hirosuke by its previous owner. The ground is of differing shades of blue, the neck being darker than the body. This is an extremely rare Japanese cloisonne enamel. It appears to be an early Ando piece. I say this because of the form used and the enamel technique used on this vase. Kawaguchi Bunzaemon Basse Taille Silver Vase Marked, circa 1900's

It is 8.5 inches (21.5 cm) tall by 4.5 inches (11.4 cm) wide.

It has black spots at the enamel, a small spot of tarnished enamel underneath the opening with enamel cracks, and surface wears and scratches. It also has tarnished metal and dents at the metal's bottom's rim (as seen in the photos).

This is a wonderful Ando signed Gonda cloisonne vase. The vase is combination very complex wireless and silver wire work, with a hint of moriage enamel. The lower flowering lily pad is moriage. The vase stands 12 1/4 inches tall and is in excellent condition.

1930's Japanese Silver Wireless Cloisonne Enamel Vase with Mt. Fuji Marked 純銀 Jungin

This is a very attractive and richly decorated Japanese cloisonne vase. At fist glance one would think it was made by Namikawa Yasuyuki because of the mottled colors and glow to the enamel. There are both silver and gold wires used in the designs. It is not signed but it is so similar to a Namikawa piece that we believe it was made by Shibata, his student. It stands 6 inches tall and is quite heavy because of the thick enamel. The vase may have had a lid at one time but I can't say for certain...

This is a special piece of Meiji Era Cloisonne Art. The jar is covered with colorful butterflies flying against a very dark blue/black enamel background. The jar measures 4 1/4 tall by 3 5/8 inches wide. Condition is outstanding but not perfect due to a very tiny blemish. The blemish can be seen in the first image next to the flash reflection.

A high quality cloisonne vase dating from the Meiji period. Design of ho-o birds among clouds on a green speckled ground. The shoulder with flowers on a black spiral ground. Bottom, rim and wires are gilt. With wood stand. Condition: rim with a small dent (see picture No. 6). Small area with only under the magnifying glass visible imperfections. Dimension: 12.1 cm high. Same shape and close design to item# 1174589.

Enameled on this unsigned 3.75" silver bodied vase are a pair of snowy egrets, bamboo and a single butterfly.

Condition: There is a stable discoloration behind the bamboo, illustrated in the second photograph, also a hairline shown in the second photograph.
