Korean casted Wrought Black Iron Oil Lamp, Ca. 1900 or before during Joseon Dynasty(Yi Dynasty), 17 1/2" high, 7" diameter-bottom width, 3" diameter-top rim, cut out design of repeated Chinese Characters on the bottom section attached to midway to small cup and continues to the top little shallow cup to hold the oil container(no oil container), higher back support to preventing the wind and also catch the fire. Two daggers incised with dragon, phoenix each dagger and seven stars incised on both daggers, and 4 characters and 2 characters on each dagger.
Both daggers housed in a wood and metal single sheath.
It is in very good condition with metals patinated. It measures 36cm with in a sheath, or 34cm only dagger.

This is a small silver inlaid box, but is a very rare and unusual decoration with Orchids and other floral motifs on the sides, with 4 yellow brass supporters on the bottom.
It’s in fine condition but lost some silver inlays, otherwise good condition,
it measures 8.2cm x 5.3cm x4.7cm high.
A (North) Korean bronze mirror of petaloid form decorated with floral scrolling to the interior of the rim. The raised border of the central reserve following the petaloid form of the mirror edge. The reserve is divided into five repeating sections each terminating in "spearhead motifs", possibly a leaf with tendrils either side, both from the central boss and the raised border (10 in total, five from the boss pointing outwards, five from the border pointing inwards)...

A rare, finely cast, pear shaped bronze vase coated with copper oxide ("malachite") encrustation. This item was made in Korea in the 12th or 13th Century during the Koryo dynasty (AD 936-1392).
Condition: unusually, very good - there is a 2mm hole in the foot (possibly drilled at the time of making for a strengthening rivet)- please view enlargement 7 - and there are a number of shallow scarcely visible bumps, the largest with associated surface abrasion...
