This is a very nice and very old Buddha statue from Lopburi depicted with royal attire such as crown, ear rings, belt , necklace and more. The Buddha is sitting in a position of calling the earth to witness.

This statue was originally found in a property of Lopburi civilian which was buried under earth about 24 inches deep. The overall condition of the statue is very good, just only a few spots of oxidation reaction. No repairs. This is very nice proof of Siam and Khmer art in 1...

Wonderful large carved wooden face of a man. His mouth is open wide and whiskers splay outward. He has a wide nose and large eyes. He appears to be wearing an oval shaped hat on which is carved an animal of some sort with long striped tail and clawed feet. The wood is beautifully worn from years of weather and rain. There are traces of white and yellow paint. Thailand. Early 19th century. Size: 24" high x 17" wide x 3 1/2" deep.

Antique pair of Thai male attendants (Nats), finely rendered out of teak wood, with polychrome traces of pigments. These funerary effigies would be kept close to an ancestral altar in order to help lead their spirits into the afterlife.
