A Chinese ruyi scepter carved from beautiful zitan wood, a symbol of good fortune used in Buddhist ceremonies. "Ruyi" directly translates into "as you wish". A fine Antique Porcelain BENJARONG/BENCHARONG BOWL, specially made in China for the Siamese Court and Nobility. Late 18/19th Century. The inside is emerald green with flower decor and a center medallion, whereas the outside depicts 4 alternative Norasingh and Kinaree figures on a Famille Noire background. Size: 17.1 cm. diameter x 8.9 cm height (3 1/2" x 6 3/4". Good condition, with 1 firing hairline on top rim, hardly noticeable, except upon close inspection. Rare size and item!

Pair of cylindrical, footed, ribbed boxes with circular lids. The food container or game box is lacquered in black with 9 "mitsudome" mon pattern on four sides. A very unusual cup with an undulating suhama style rim; a formalization of an undulating shore line of spits and coves decorated with a pair of auspicious Horses, uma. A beautiful jadeite cigarette holder, carved with a smooth, rounded mouth piece and a thin incised line where the cylindrical body meets the handle. The jade has is a wonderful blue green tone with splashes of spinach green toward the end and apple green areas by the mouthpiece.
