Jar of globular form with a short cylindrical lipped neck and two horizontal lugs on the shoulder. The body is divided into five panels by vertical lines of applied studs, alternate panels being decorated in underglaze cobalt - blue with a chrysanthemum spray and alternate with a lingzhi fungus motive. These are the following items to be posted at our site. A collection of very rare fluted cups from the Song Dynasty. Normally it is hard to find one single piece from this kind. There are three different Longquan ware cups, one rare Yaozhou kiln cup and one blueish grey glazed possibly Guan ware cup. These cups normally are a " must " for every serious collector of Song Dynasty ware.

This is a tall Song dynasty (960 – 1276 A.D) yingqing or qingpai meiping or plum vase.
