The brilliantly enamelled peach decoration on this bowl is absolutely superb and the fact that this bowl bears a rare iron red Shengdetang mark is an additional enhancement concerning the importance of this Famille Rose decorated bowl. This leaf shaped Chinese late 19th century blue and white serving dish is 7 ¾” long, 4 ¾” at its widest part and 1 ¾” high. The blue and white floral design covers the side and the rim. There are five small feet on the bottom. It is in excellent condition.

Up for a sale is a large antique Chinese Qing dynasty blue dragon robe, 19th century, embroidered with nine 5-claw dragons, clouds, buddhist auspicious symbols executed in Forbidden stitch or Peking knots, seawaves & standing whater ( Lishui ); backed with light blue silk lining; very fine embroideries, imperial workshop quality; lining has light stains and tears, dark blue lower sleeves' top stabilized, overall the robe is in very good condition consistent with its age...

Black Lacquered Mother of Pearl Table. This is a low table used in ancestor worship rituals. The gorgeous peony flower is a symbol of abundance and wealth. The delightfully rendered dokkaebi goblins that adorn each leg are guardians that chase away evil spirits. The clouds are symbols of Heaven, and the plum blossoms are symbols of courage. As you can see in the photo, there is some loss to one of the dokkaebi goblins, but this table is in otherwise amazing and excellent condition...

A twin-handled bronze censer. The base carries the six character reign mark of the Xuande emperor (1426-1435) but this item was made later, possibly during the reign of the Kangxi emperor (1662-1722). This censer is from the collection of a British architect who was born in China and lived in Shanghai. It came to the UK with him in 1931...

A rare pale greenish jade, Ming dynasty, brush washer with finely carved hardwood stand. This item was made during late 16th / early 17th Century, probably during the reign of the Wanli emperor (1573-1619).
