This unique antique Japanese vase with four handles has a creamy grayish colored body with crackles and numerous pinholes. A couple of crackles are missing (shown in the photo) at the foot. It is 11 1/2 inches tall, circa early 1900s.

Made of grey pottery, covered with a white layer of paint, decorated with bright red and black pigments. Figures of this very large size are rare and were only made for royalty and high nobility. The figure was made in two parts, the head was connected with the body by a wooden pin, which is of course now gone and replaced by a carboard roll. Condition: wear to the painting, the figure is covered in soil, traces of plant roots...

Blue and White Yuhuchunping, decorated with slight fat body like typical early Ming period like Hongwu period, with 7 level decoration of a private kiln with main decor of the Phoenix's in the middle. Bronze Shan State Buddha seated in the lotus position on a stepped throne decorated with knobs. The Buddha's right hand is in the gesture of touching the earth (bhumisparsa mudra) and in his right hand he is holding a dish of food. Original dark patina, 18/19th Century, Burma. Good condition. An unusual rectangular small Koro, Incense burner, decorated in under-glaze blue, iron red and gilding set upon four small feet. Each side of the censer is decorated with bands of diaper brocade inset with rectangular panels containing stylised arabesques set against an iron red ground. The square end panels suggesting a Taotie mask. The koro is of slab construction with applied moulded feet. It measures 8cm long and 6.7cm wide and stands 7.5cm high...

This late 19th or early 20th century ivory carved Shou Xin (or Shou Lao, the symbol of longevity) is 12” high, 3” wide and 2 ½” thick. It depicts Shou Xin holding a peach in one hand and dragon head cane in the other. It is in excellent condition.

This antique Chinese hat would have been worn by a child and probably made and embroidered by a grandparent. This hat is old and has unusual silver ornaments in the front. Condition is pristine with the exception that the large round silver ornament decoration is missing 2 small prongs, and the silk ribbon bordering the extension of the wind cover for protecting the back of the childs neck also has some deterioration areas.

Featuring a tapering body supported by a tall splayed foot with a short and waisted neck and is decorated with a band of floral scrolls in between a bordering ruyi pattern with floral sprays and alternating clouds above stylized pattern with a geometrical border. Late 18th to early 19th century bronze suigaraake (ashtray) netsuke in classic bowl shape with cast decoration on the outside of 2 birds by bamboo stalks with leaves. Very well designed piece, good detailing, functional netsuke shape, hanged by a bronze ring. Nice old piece with pleasant patina on metal, the inside of the still containing ash residue. This signed and dated Guang Xu period (1875~1908) plate is 2 inches high and 8 ¼ inches in diameter. It has a cloud and wave pattern over a bright yellow background inside the plate; the four characters mean¡± long life without limit.¡± On the outside of the plate, there are three groups of flowers. It is in great condition.
