17th Century Tibetan Green Tara Thangka, 49.5 x 29.5 inches, 126 x 75 cm. Most of these thangka were photographed through glass frames, so there may be a little blurriness. This thankga was in an exhibition at the University of Texas Art Museum.

Rare and elegant decoration in relief, in the center the "Mon" of the Tori-O clan of Yamaguchi in Suwo, surrounded by scrolls of flowers and stylized clouds mixed with Ginkgo Biloba leaves. The gray-blue celadon displays finely crackled glazing with areas slightly darkened by time. A faint pattern made of white inlay can be seen along the upper rim, complimented in several areas by antique kintsugi repairs. The maki-e gold repair at the base—with its design of half waves and half flowering vines—though quite old, seem not quite so old as the repairs along the rim...
A rectangular repoussé box, decorated with peony, floral sprays and Buddhist symbols. The sides decorated with meanders, the back with floral motives and a ‘Shou’ character, symbolizing longevity. Both sides of the box have gilded details. Dimensions: 10 x 8,5 x 4,5 cm. Weight: 242 g. The box is in very good condition and has normal age wear. Date: 19th to early 20th century.
This small hinged metal case is covered with leather and opens to display both red ink pot and personal ivory chop. The person's name on the base of the chop is clearly carved. Leather in old China was very expensive...the owner of this chop must been a person of both status and wealth. The leather shows age but is intact and set is in very good condition. The case measures 2.5" X 1+" This is a rare old piece.

This circular box is well-carved with cranes and clouds in low relief on the lid and covered with an even, sea-green, translucent celadon glaze that highlights the carving. The bottom half of the box is incised with lines radiating from the base and representing the petals of a chrysanthemum flower. The base is glazed and the footring is unglazed exposing the white paste – somewhat soiled with use. The interior of the base and lid is also glazed with an even sea-green celadon tone...
Otagaki Rengetsu (1791-1875) Antique Japanese Tea Cup with inscribed poem and signature
Rengetsu Otagaki (1791-1875) was a Buddhist nun who is widely regarded to have been one of the greatest Japanese poets of the 19th century.
She was also a skilled potter and painter and expert calligrapher and adorned her ceramics with poems written in her unique calligraphic style.
The cup style and the the glaze is consistent with authentic Rengetsu work.
