Chinese Jin Dynasty Painted Pottery Filial Piety Tile (AD 1115 - 1234)
This interesting and attractive pottery tile was made during the Jin Dynasty (AD 1115 - 1234) and most likely comes from Shanxi province. The tile is made from quite a high-fired grey pottery that has been "cold painted" in various coloured pigments. This tile depicts a scene from one of the twenty-four paragons of filial piety. A Song Qingbai cup, rounded side with flat base covered with bluish white glaze.
Cup in very good condition no damage, chips, hairlines, craks, or restoration.
Size: 6.5 cm diamater.
Found in the Philippines.
Featuring a green-white glaze with a carved floral interior. The dish is fully glazed except for its flat foot.
Measurements: W 4”inches (across).

Ming Dynasty ceramic wedding booth. Traditionally in China, a woman was carried in a covered wedding sedan chair by bearers accompanied by musicians. This piece has a detachable roof, replicating a draped cloth and is in good condition- only a few minor glaze frits. Would make an excellent display stand for a small Buddha. H: 35cm/13.8in and 12.5cm/4.8in.
Diameter approximately 12.3 cm. Height approximately 8.5 cm. There are some firing cracks at the base. Flat color. Bluish color. More pictures are available. In good condition.

Porcelain decorated full floral decoration on the exterior and interior, glazed base with mark. PERIOD : late Ming (1566-1643 AD) MEASUREMENTS: 17.7 cm wide, 9 cm tall. CONDITION: a firing crack to the rim, free from restorations. Good sound when tapping with finger tips.
The teapot is cast in bronze. The body has the shape of a melon and the spout that of a stylized bird. The handle supports have a typical shape for this period. The handle, which has now disappeared, must have been made of perishable materials, probably braided bamboo fibre. It is exceedingly rare to find a Chinese bronze teapot from this period. It is functional and perfectly pours the tea without uncontrolled drips. Good condition, the lid is crack (see photo), no restoration...
In northern Vietnam the ceramic industry had been developing under Chinese influence and especially the art of blue & white glaze was excellent just comparable with YUAN DYNASTY pieces.They used the cobalt glaze imported from Persian so coloring of blue is very beautiful.
