Small cabinet with drawers in precious wood. It opens with a sliding door revealing 3 drawers. The door is inlaid with silver threads depicting the Chinese character "Shou" meaning longevity, the other panels are inlaid with a simple silver thread. This small cabinet with a simple shape is made of very hard wood with a dense grain, almost black in color with red reflections. It is probably some kind of rosewood, perhaps red sandalwood, called zitan in China...
A set of rare and complete Burmese manuscript (KAMMAVACA) made from thick cloth coated with gold and lacquer in nice condition. It was written in the Pali language using Burmese script. The square letters were written in thick and black cinnabar lacquer. This set has 16 leaves and 2 wooden covers made from teak wood. Each leave was inscribed on both sides with illustrations of deity figures from Hindu-Buddhist mythology on some leaves...

Antique Japanese tansu with 7 exterior drawers of various sizes. The lower right hand side has a safe box door with 2 small interior drawers. Made all of kiri (paulownia) wood. Hardware includes warabite shaped drawer pulls, heavy lock plates and hinges.

A rare northern Song dynasty Yaozhou bowl with duck motif, rounded side with conical shape and glazed base, bowl decorated with ducks and water flower motif, a very similar bowl illustrated in "Song dynasty ceramics" book by Rose Kerr, collection of Victoria and Albert museum.
Bowl is in very good condition no chip, no crack, no restoration.

Wonderful rare antique Japanese Funa Tansu (ship safe chest), all made of Keyaki (Zelkova) wood with heavy iron work, single door is a separate drop in panel with 3 locks, interior consists of 6 drawers of different sizes (2 of which have heavy iron locks), all drawers have thick Keyaki fronts and Kirinoki (Paulownia) wood interiors, beautiful grain and finish throughout, Kashiwa mon on front is made of bronze encircled in iron, comes with one key, characters in ink on bottom, Edo Period...
A good Song Yuan longquan celadon large bowl, rounded side with deep center and glazed base, bowl decorated with 35 carved raising lotus petal motif at the exterior, covered with good green glaze.
Bowl is in good condition with small glaze fritt at the rim covered, no chip, no crack, minor crackled at glaze surface, porcelain with high ping sound with finger tip.

Antique Chinese small cabinet with six open shelves originally intended for displaying small precious artworks. There are two small drawers between the upper and lower shelves. The bottom portion of the chest has two cabinet compartments opened by hinged doors. The entire surface of the wooden cabinet is lacquered and detailed with vine and floral motifs.

Antique 19th century Meiji period Japanese five-case, dark brown Cinnabar lacquer Inro with finely hand carved flower heads.
An Inro is a small portable case with several compartments. Originally used for holding medicine or other small items, they became a part of traditional Japanese male costume.

An antique Japanese Sendai Ko Bo Tansu (personal chest with locking bar) made of Keyaki (Zelkova) and Suginoki (Cryptomeria) woods. All original Urushi lacquer finish and hand made iron hardware with Warabite handles. The bottom main drawer has a lock plate that features the lucky Sho Chiku Bai motif with a crane and a turtle added for additional good luck and longevity. The hinged door has two small drawers hidden behind. Also, there is natural built-up patina surrounding the metal-work...
Chinese Brass Oil Lantern or Oil Lamp Ca. before 1920, 11" high for stand, separate round Dish with handle for oil-1 1/4" high shallow dish, bottom-5 1/4" x 1 3/4" high, stand nicely within the Brass ring attached to the main stand in the middle section, bottom-5 1/2" diameter and, 1 3/4" high, etched double fish and original used condition, no damages.
Northern Song Dynasty Celadon bowl (Chinese or possibly Korean) with incised flower design. Nice green glaze and symmetrical shape. There are no chips or cracks. Note a couple of flaws within glaze. Diameter: 7.5 inches; height: 3 inches.
This is indigo dye thick of the Edo era
cotton tsutsugaki noren. It is made of hand-spun and hand-woven and natural indigo dyed cotton. The neighboring brown can be dyed in persimmon juice. It has a few stains. However, it does not stand out. It is in state that there is not damage and is very good.
