A large "Kangxi revival" Guangxu blue and white jar, with typical late Qing glaze, painting style, and paste; featuring eleven beauties engaged in activities of intellectual refinement.

A large circular tureen and cover painted in underglaze blue depicting peonies, willow trees and rockwork in a garden setting. This item was made in China circa 1750, during the reign of the Qianlong Emperor, for export to Europe. Condition - there are minor losses. Two leaves on the pomegranate finial are chipped and an ear is missing from one of the boar's head handles. There are chips to the inside of the cover and there is a light hairline to the base...
