A large antique 19th century Indian Hindu temple puja bell or Ghanta the janus handle with figures of the monkey God Hanuman and Garuda. The bowl engraved with two elephants and zebu bull and floral pattern and scrolls.
CONDITION: Showing age and usage, handle slightly bent the figures appear to be well worn from ritual use and handling with nice old patina. In working order - sounds good!

Magnificent pottery Ding. The long legs and “cockscomb” design where, the legs join the body, are in keeping with bronze vessels from the Zhou to Warring States period, which pottery pieces were trying to emulate. There are traces of a repetitive meandering impressed band below mid circumference. The body is thinly potted with very light gray clay and originally had a dark gray slip applied to the outside (the original gray slip is still intact in the cavity)...
Small cast bronze tripod incense burner. Beautiful finish. The two handles are in the shape of Buddhist lions heads. Qing Chinese. The bottom of the feet slightly flared would rather suggest a Japanese Edo creation but without certainty.

Large Song Dynasty bowl with incised designs and an olive brown glaze. Some apparent wear on glaze around rim with small chip. There are no cracks or hairlines. Diameter is 10 inches and height is +3 inches.

This is a green glazed bowl dated to the Northern Song Dynasty. It stands on a short foot rim with a recess base. On the cavetto, it is divided into four sections of incised abstract cloud like drawings
The bowl is in very good conditions with the glaze intact and some glaze crazing. There are very minor abrasion and chip on the rim, which can be expected and is normal for bowl of such ageing. Other than that, it is in very good condition...

In the style of Ogata Korin, this tall-sided tray is lacquered black over a wood core. The decoration is rendered in raised lacquer in the Rinpa School manner after Korin. It displays a gnarled stump of a plum tree sending out shoots with blossoms and buds raised in gold lacquer, as well a inlaid flowers and buds in iridescent abalone mother of pearl...

19th century Chinese Famille Rose Melon shape Porcelain Jar, Ca. mid 1800's, 11 1/2" high, 8 1/2" wide-middle widest part, 3 3/4" diameter-top rim, with overglaze Famille Rose color of mother and children are playing in the garden on one side and two(2) bats are flying on the other side. Few old chips inside the top rim and kiln crazing on the bottom, no cracks or hairlines.
