A large and unusual Chinese bronze arrow vase, Yuan/early Ming dynasty, with tubular handles on the tall tapering neck, the globular body finely cast in relief with three dragons. Height 39 cms.
Provenance: House clearance in Staffordshire, UK.
Attic red-figure askos decorated with a dog and a panther crouching on the domed top. The animals face the spout and are seen with one foreleg raised.
The panther has turned the head towards the viewer and shows a spotted coat.
The shallow vessel shows a low dome-shaped top, the small flaring spout raises obliquely from the shoulder; overarching handle. The flat base reserved with a tiny mold on the edge.

Chinese Qing to Republic period porcelain lion dog seated with an open mouth revealing ferocious teeth and a well-formed protruding tongue, covered overall with a golden amber glaze. 8 1/2" high x about 8" long. Early 20th century. An old price tag is adhered to the unglazed base. Very good overall condition with possibly a tiny loss or production flaw to the side of one tooth. From a Paradise Valley, Arizona estate.
A stunning lot of 3 very attractive larger silex axes for the period, dating to the Singlegrave and Daggertime periods, 2400-2000 BC.

A small attractively decorated porcelain jardiniere and stand probably made in Jingdezhen, China circa 1770 - 1820 during the reign of either the Qianlong or Jiaqing emperor. Although this was a popular export shape during that period the traditional archaic style decoration suggests that this was possibly made as a scholar's item. Well-carved, lacquered and gilded, seated on a lotus petal base. The mandorla is missing, and there is an old loss to the hands, otherwise, it is in good condition. Acquired in Japan in the early 1970s.

Elaborate mask of Citipati, made of embossed, gilt and painted, bronze. Partly encrusted reddish-green patina. Tibet, 18th century. The mask is nicely mounted on a custom stand. Height (without stand): 26 cm. Very good condition. A very rare piece.

Takeda dolls are modeled after the characters from 17th to 19th century Japanese theater. They are known for exaggerated postures and often with a vivid facial expression of the Kabuki actors or Jyoruri puppets on stage from the period.

Extremely rare longquan celadon dish with dragon motif chasing flaming pearl covered with good green celadon glaze, Yuan dynasty (1279 - 1368). size: 36 cm diameter, dish is in good condition with some crack line and crackeled glaze as shown at picture, no damage part, no restoration.
