Guangxu mark and period, 1875-1908
The interior is well-painted in various colors of overglaze enamels, having a central Shou medallion surrounded by four auspicious characters rendered in gold with red outlines on a white ground. The reverse is painted with two flower sprays over the clear glaze which covers all but the exposed footring. The six-character Guangxu mark is painted in two vertical lines in dark red enamel. The yellow enamel has some areas of light wear from use...

A rare southern Song dunasty longquan celadon blue green large bowl, rounded side with deep center and unglazed base, bowl has very rare rim shape and covered with good bluish green glaze, good porcelain with high ping sound with finger tip.
Bowl is in good condition no chip, no crack, no restoration, there is small glaze flake / frit at outer rim, minor crackled at the glaze surface, very rare rim shape.

Nicely painted decoration of three flower arrangements on each cup - the bouquets respectively centering a peony, a chrysanthemum and a camellia bloom (appearing to represent blooms from different seasons.) figures. The Dogu acted as effigies of people. They manifested some kind of
sympathetic magic. For example, it may have been believed that illnesses
could be transferred into the Dogu, and then destroyed, clearing the
illness, or any other misfortune. Because of the ritual destruction of Dogu,
they are quite rare. This primitive abstract fertility figure has a
futuristic look...

Ming blue and white large dish decorated with fine under glaze blue of scenery river boat mountains pagoda and house motif at the center, inner rim with nine white stork at the pond, outer wall with three squirrels in the three branches of fruit trees. 34,5cm diameter. Dish has fourhairlines at the rim and fritting glaze at the rim. Free from restorations.
