An antique Korean Bundaji (bedding chest) made of Elm, Genko and dense Pine woods. Likely commissioned to be made and presented as a wedding present for a married couple it features its original brass hardware filled with a multitude of auspicious symbols. This bronze cast cannon is decorated in low relief of a coiled dragon. The fish like handle stock and representing a carp is in homage to the original purpose of such cannon. These examples where used to shoot flaming signals from ships at sea. Mounted on custom Bronze stand. Pitting finish shows indication of sand casting. Fine detail shows high level craftsmanship.

Chinese famille rose porcelain tea cups, each with pink and white chrysanthemums with outstretched stems and leaves in pastel greens, a light aubergine band around the rim with small flowers and leaves in curling designs, and a light blue half-star design underneath. Each teacup is stamped underneath with the Hongxian Nian Zhi mark, early 20th century. Size: 2.25" tall, 3" wide

A bronze plaque was found in very good condition.
It was hollow casted with animal fighting scenes.
Nice patina was preserved on the surface.

Date: 2 B.C , Western Han periods.

Dimensions 13.8cm x 10.5cm x 6.0cm.

Similar piece was found in the Yunnan Province Museum.

Japanese boxwood ojime bead carving of a skull, finely detailed with realistic cranial fissures, missing teeth, pierced eye sockets and nasal cavity, with tiny handmade chisel marks visible under the jaw. The ojime is a cord fastening bead, used to secure an inro container to the wearer's obi or sash.

Antique 18th-19th century Yemen, Islamic Yemeni Arab dagger, Khanjar Jambiya with belt. A broad, slightly curved, double-edged iron blade formed with a pronounced medial ridge on each side, the shaped silver hilt finely repousse and engraved with chevrons decorated with filigree work and adorned with large pyramidal shaped protrusions.
