A rare Ming dynasty wanli period under glaze blue and over glaze enamel Wucai large bowl with boys playing in the garden, rounded side with deep center and glazed base, bowl is in good condition no damage no chip no crack no restoration, natural glaze frittings on the rim, size: 14 cm diameter.

This covered box of a Sawankhalok underglazed black stoneware has an unusual design including six raised bands dividing petal-shaped segments. This type of Sawankhalok ware was produced in Sisatchanelai kilns, Thailand during the fourteenth to fiftheenth centuries. Height: 11 cm. Very good condition. Provenance: Acquired in Singapore in 1990 from MoonGate, owner Mr K. T. Goh, a famous local antique dealer.

Bowl from Sukhothai region, Central Thailand, ca. 14th-16th Century. Green glaze. H.2.875"(7.25cm) x Dia.5.5"(14cm.) A small food bowl in the shape used today for rice in North Asia (Japan, China, etc.) The shape would have been prized in its day in Japan as an export ware of Thailand used as a Tea Bowl for matcha (Matcha Chawan.) Excellent condition, still suitable for matcha use today. The kilns of Central, Northern, & Western Thailand were active predominately in the 14th to 16th Centuries...

Antique Thai figure of seated Buddha Shakyamuni. Made of bronze and seated with his hands folded in meditation (Dhyana mudra). Downcast eyes with lids barely open, a gentle smile on his face, he exudes a sense of calm. With lovely patina and traces of gilt. Age: Ayutthaya (1350-1767 A.D.) Dimensions: 10 3/4" high x 7" wide x 2 1/2" deep

A extremely rare and nice Chenghua marked underglaze blue and red bowl of the highest quality. Ming Wanli period ( 1573 - 1619 ) Wonderful fragile potted porcelain body, very good glaze. No crack and no chip , very minute fritting to the rim. D : 9,2 cm. A highlight for any Ming collection .

Late Ming Dynasty, ca. 1600

Glazed with turquoise, amber and green enamels, this laughing Buddha holds his large belly with one hand, and clasps a rosary in the other. The back is unglazed and a stabilized hairline extends from the foot to the top of the base. There is a collection inventory number incised on the rear base and there is a small chip to the foot. It is accompanied by a later carved wooden base.

Nice and good conditions Vietnamese dish. 25 cm diameter.

A well potted jar of globular form, decorated in underglaze cobalt blue with a collar of lotus petals around the neck and a continuous floral scroll meander on the body. Off-white stoneware body with a transparent glaze. The base unglazed. Annamese ware ( Vietnam ) fifteenth century. H : 7,4 cm. Diameter : 8,3 cm. Condition : Perfect.

Depicting one of the 24 Tirthankaras with his attendants. His eyes inlaid with silver or electron. Lots of wear due to extensive worshipping. Judging by the beautiful dark brown and green patina, this is an excavated piece. H. 13,5 cm (5,5 inches). Provenance: private collection The Netherlands.

Mother nursing her child, probably from the Sawankhalok kilns. The body of the hand-modeled figure is rather hastily sculpted as is the doll-like child. This hastiness is typical of figures such as this one which were made in large numbers and distributed as fertility charms. This one, however, has more care taken in defining the facial features of the mother as well as her hairstyle...

This bowl is covered overall in an attractive bluish green celadon glaze except for the footring, which shows the buff-toned porcelaneous stoneware body. The glaze is somewhat unevenly applied to the exterior. The interior has a glaze bubble that popped in the firing. Acquired in the early 1980s from an antiques dealer in Alexandria, VA.

Ca. 1400s

Well potted with thick, even celadon glaze overall except for the unglazed base and foot. The glaze is of a deep green tone and crackled all over covering the interior of the neck as well. Three floral form appliques decorate the shoulder just below three concentric rings leading up to the neck. A few minor earth stains remain from burial. Overall very good condition.

Perfectly and thinly potted. Beautifully decorated in an superb underglaze Cobalt blue. Kangxi period ( 1662 - 1722 ) marked with a Ming Dynasty Chenghua Mark. Diameter : 16,3 cm. H : 7,8 cm. Condition : Some glaze fritting to the rim which is quite common for this type of bowl. Further in perfect condition ( no crack, no chip, no repair ).

A fine Chinese bronze Gu, beaker, form flower vase of elegant elongated form cast with geometric, principally leiwen patterns, with zoomorpihic elements based on a Shang precedent. The design here largely adapted from examples to be found in the famous Song catalogue “Xuanhe Bogu Tu”, notably one example with two opposing worm like creatures incorporated in the central band of decoration.
