An antique Japanese Kusuri Tansu (herbal medicine chest) made of Kaki (Persimmon) and Kiri (Paulownia) woods. All original hand forged iron hardware with each pull ring decorated with a Chrysanthemum back plate. Some of the drawers still retain label remnants of the contents that it held. Constructed using hardened wooden nails and straight dovetail joinery. Consisting of 35 drawers.
A choice and beautiful red carnelian Cylinder seal, dating to the Achaemenid Empire, 7th.-4th. century BC.
Finely carved and polished barrel-shaped, carved with two animals at the sides of a tree. The clay impression, we made is not the best, but the seal is really sharp and attractive in hand.

Cast bronze candlestick. Finely chiseled decoration of tao tie masks and stylized cicadas in the archaic Chinese style. The cast is perfect without the slightest defect. The carving is precise without error. The object has a very elegant atypical shape. Below a mark of 6 characters must announce the name of the artist who is necessarily excellent. Very beautiful object absolutely unique. In a perfect state. Wear of multi-secular use.

A pair of very large and elaborate silver temple rings, Viking settlers from Scandinavia (Kingdom of the Rus or Kievan Rus), present day Ukraine, c. 800-1000 AD.
The bow temple rings with globular decoration on crescents and with globular hangers on 4 skilfully made chains. These rings were worn from a headband around the temples by Viking Rus women, hence the name Temple rings.

Perfectly shaped Shino Chawan with beautifully crackled Shino glaze and with the image of 3 Noh mai dancers.
It is extremely rare to find an antique tea bowl with a Noh mai dance motif.
This Chawan was made at the end of the 19th century...

This is beautiful Japanese Ko Imari Porcelain Dish with fine painting of Ho-O bird design with treasure design done in three windows with another window of flower design by gold and Shu (Japanese red) color. The center of dish with Jurojin head in Sometsuke. There is marking of Seika Nensei (Chenghua Year Made) on the back of dish. Back side has Ho-0 bird and Reishi (Chinese mushroom) design...
Incredible pair of very large bronze Japanese shokodai candlesticks. Made of bronze with fine casting for an important Buddhist temple. With chrysanthemum base and bowl. Prickets for large candles. Dark original patina consistent with age. Overall very good condition. Rare chance to acquire such an example.
