This middle 19th century Chinese topaz brush washer is carved in the form of a large lotus leaf. Two small lotus blossoms and a seedpod lean on the large leaf. It is 4 inches wide and 1½ inches tall. There are a few chips due to the age of the piece.

Song dynasty longquan celadon bowl with carved lotus petals motif at the exterior, good condition with restoration at the rim, size: 14 cm diameter.

Delightful Qing Dynasty café au lait glazed water dropper in the shape of a fish in a basket, it is quite heavy for its size and the brown glaze has a strong metallic patina possibly emulating bronze. Most likely from a Southern Kiln, in perfect condition! D: 5.7cm/2.2in and H: 7.2cm/2.8in.

Antique Edo Period Japanese bronze standing red crown crane incensor with swirling dragon and tengu (mythical animal that lives in lakes) at its base. Original hand worn bronze patina consistent with age. The incense smoke would rise up an out from the openings in within the feathers of the crane on its back.

A wonderful Kutani saki bottle, done in the Yoshidaya style. Decorated in brown, green, yellow ochre, and blue enamels with shaped panels of landscape scenes. In excellent condition, no chips, no hairlines, no cracks, it measures 6.75” high x 3”. This is a revival piece done in the Meiji period circa 1890-1900.

Third son of the director of the Kano School of painting, Yasunobu was appointed head of the Kyoto branch at a young age after his father’s death. A Song dynasty 12th - 13th century large qingbai ewer, melon shape body with straight cylindrical neck, loop handle and rising spout covered with bluish white qingbai glaze, body with cloud motif.15,5 cm high. good conditions with just small cipped on the cover and small chipped on the left earing (plese see on the picture).

A splendid set of five Chataku Tea Cup Saucers of turned wood decorated in ridiculously thick lacquer floral decoration by Ikkokusai enclosed in a fine wooden box signed by the artist and dated Meiji 39 (1906).
