This is a 19th century Chinese brush holder made of Huanghuali. It is a rare piece because of its size. It measures 8 ½ inches in diameter and 8 inches tall. It is in excellent condition.
This well cast Meiji period Japanese bronze vase is 10 ¾ inches tall and 4 inches in diameter at its widest. It depicts a wild goose flying away from the moon. The moon is silver inlaid and the goose is silver overlay on top of the bronze body. The goose eye and feet is gold. There is a maker¡¯s seal on the bottom, it reads ¡°Kyoto, made by Kuroda¡±. There are a few scratches on the body and lighter color around the moon due to cleaning.

This late 19th century Chinese bamboo brush holder (Bitong) is 12 inches tall and 5 inches at its widest part. It was carved in high relief and lacquered. The top part of the cylinder presents the story of the seven immortals of the bamboo grove. Four immortals are looking at a scroll picture; two are playing ¡°Go¡± and one is watching them play. This is a rare late Ming dynasty (1368~1615) carved bamboo statue. It depicts a bearded warrior on a horse. The rider¡¯s head is raised up, eyes wide open; his left arm is gently holding the bridle. Chinese silver tankard dated during China Trade Period (1795~1840). Its tapering cylindrical body depicts a hunting scene with an ear-shaped dragon handle. There is stamped maker¡¯s mark ¡°W¡± on the bottom. It is 4 inches high and 4 inches wide (including handle). It is in excellent condition.
19th century Chinese jade banana leaf, 6 ¾ inches long and 2 ½ inches at widest spot on a carved/fitted wood stand. There is a loose ring on the stalk. It is carved so thin it is almost translucent. There is a small chip on the stand. Excellent condition.
Middle 19th century Chinese white jade Pi. The piece is 2 ¼ inches in diameter and 5/16 inches thick. A pinhead (Gu) design is on one side; the other side has a five scroll design. The carved wood stand has six round vase shaped corners. There is a tiny chip on the rim of the jade and a small piece is missing on the curve of the stand. It is in good condition.
Middle 19th century Chinese white jade rectangular lock on a carved wood stand with incised decoration on both sides. One side has four Chinese characters which read ¡°prosperity for entire family¡±; the other side is a peony design in the center with a garden scene around it. The jade is 3 ½ inches wide, 2 ¾ inches high (5 inches tall with stand) and ¼ inches thick. There is a chip on the corner of the stand. It is in excellent condition.

This is a 19th century Japanese imitation of a Chinese cloisonne bowl. It has a white background and fish, horse and floral design on both the exterior and interior. There is a square brass seal reading ¡°imitate Ming¡± on the bottom. In this case, ¡°Ming¡± is a general name for Chinese or Mandarin. It is 10 inches in diameter and 4 ¾ inches tall. Good condition.

19th century nephrite carving. A reclined sheep holds a peach in her mouth. Her head is turned back to watch her baby. The lamb is leaning on his mother, in his mouth there is a string of Ling-Zhi. Very nice carving in good condition.

19th century nephrite carving of a bearded Zhong-Kui (ghost eater). His right hand is holding a fan; his left hand is raised up holding his hat. Under his left foot is a demon begging for his life. According to Chinese custom, the ghost eater will protect a family from evil spirits. This is a very nice carving in good condition.
