Chinese Export Famille Rose Porcelain Vase, Qianlong period 1736-1795, 10" high, 4 1/2" wide-maximum width, 1 5/8" diameter for top rim, with four(4) attached red Squirrels around neck area(chips on 2 squirrel's mouth), high relief vines and flowers on both sides, enclosed within two(2) panels of overglaze enamel design of floral bouquets and bugs inside two(2) panels, highlighted in gold, some berries have glaze chips. All the vines, berries are attached on the main body of the vase...

Beautiful and rare opium scale in its box made of wood lacquered in black with a design showing a red cross.The scale is made of bronze and complete. Burma, 19th century. Length of the box: 16,7 cm. Obvious signs of wear due to age, otherwise very good condition. NOTE: the piece was collected in 1974 in the North of Thailand by its former owner. Chinese Elmwood small square shape table, late 19th c., 11" high, 12 1/2" square on top, with pegged round straight legs. There is a narrow piece of wood wedged between original Elmwood top and the uneven finish which is original, it is a solid table, shows some wears, original wood color top.

Rare pair of foxes that guard a Inari shrine. One holding a jewel in the mouth, the other a key. Each squatting on a little pedestal. Earthenware with mineral color pigments red, blue, white and black. Japan, Edo period, 19th century.

H 19-1/2 x W 6-1/2 x D 9 inches.

One tail restored, key broken and partially replaced for the sake of symmetry, few chips. All in all excellent condition.

Dating: 17th Century Provenance: Germany Straight, flame-shaped blade, on a side a strong raiser worked with woven chiselling, the tip shaped as an arrow. The quillon as bat wings, with hollow faces engraved with racemes. Bone grip, flat on a side and convex on the other, decorated with engraved effigy of soldiers and flowers within frames, iron cap. Scabbard of bone sectors engraved with floral motifs, with grotesque figures, at the front the high-relieved effigy of a soldier in his armour...

Dating: Mid-19th Century Provenance: Ottoman Empire, Turkey Circular, convex, iron shield provided with four studs with star-shaped base; the surface decorated with silver floral and geometrical motifs. At the inside four suspension rings, two of them with leather handle. Dimensions: Diameter 34.5 cm. No condition issues.

Dating: Early 19th Century. Provenance: Indo/Persia. Slightly curved, double-edged blade, ribbed at the tip, with double fuller, decorated with a gold-inlaid, floral cartouche at the forte; rock crystal grip, slightly curved, with pommel worked as a bud. Dimensions: length, 35 cm.

Beautiful Japanese Daki Ningyo standing at the unusual height of 26 inches (66 cm), making him a very rare and striking figure of the merchant class. He is wearing an Inro with a pair of Kokishiki dolls inside. It is most uncommon to see this type of Ningyô outside of Japan, for they are highly prized by the Japanese. A widely held theory has it that these dolls were commissioned by patrons of Geisha as presentation gifts. This one is outstanding in every way...

Very well crafted Sino-Tibetan gilded cast bronze figure of Buddha, seated in a lotus position upon a lotus base; dressed in a finely relief robe and a censer in one hand. Circa 19th century era. This bowl is glazed in white overall except for the foot and base, save for a small bit of glaze on the base. The fine, white porcelain paste is exposed on the base.
