A fine Qing dynasty Daoguang period 1820 - 1850 under glaze blue and copper red bottle vase, rounded side with tall body and glazed base, decorated with under glaze blue and red officials and ladscape motif, base with Daoguang seal mark and of the period, bottle vase is in good condition no damage, no chip no crack no restoration, size: 7 cm height.

Antique pair of Turkish square side tables with elaborate mashrabiya openwork on the sides. This traditional Islamic lattice work is the same that is used on mashrabiya balconies, an architectural element used to help cool the upper floors of buildings. The tops of the tables are inlaid with mother of pearl with a star form in the center and bands of geometric tessellations on the exterior border.

18th century Indian bronze votive sculpture of Nandi - the vehicle of Shiva, or sometimes considered to be a form of Shiva himself. It rests wearing rich trappings in front of Shiva lingam. Very nice casting, wonderful feel of age produced by devotional wear and compressed sandalwood paste used during worship. Very good devotional object, pleasant to hold. Length 2 inches.

A Very Fine Blue and White Dragon Bottle: Korea, Choson period, 19th century, This is a large and fine blue underglaze dragon wine bottle, slightly compressed globular body rising to a tall neck with flared mouth, well painted with a dragon pursuing flaming pearl through clouds. It is in perfect condition. Measures: 11” high and 6 ½” diameter. ***For a very similar dragon bottle sold at the Christie’s, New York, 4/27/1994 page44, lot #58

The present miniature portrait of a Chinese lady in a blue robe ( Gouache, c. 1850 ) is striking for the manner in which a typical Chinese beauty has been represented. this antique pair of lotus embroidered lotus shoes are most likely from northern china. the vamp is a quilted cotton fabric. Each shoe is embroidered with the same floral design on both sides. The shoes were used and show some soiling on the vamp and the soles are slightly worn and dirty.

Ancient egyptian carnelian scarab amulet 2,6 cm

Scarab amulets were used for their magical rejuvenating properties by both the living and the dead. Scarabs were used by living individuals as seals from the start of the Middle Kingdom (ca. 2055 BCE) onwards. These scarabs, like JHUAM 3757 and 3778, had inscriptions on their flat bottoms and could be impressed into mud or clay. The most common inscription for these scarabs was the owner’s name...

This is very a haori coat of the patchwork of the paper and silk of the highest class in Edo period(1800-1867) . This is an item of a rare museum class. The print is massaged by the hand. An unusual very heavy and coarsely potted Imari shallow dish of gong shape form decorated with a central motif of a Kirin within an arabesque of foliage surrounded by a diaper band. The rim decorated with roundels, marumon, and wreath shaped medallions in underglaze blue with enamel details. The dish is further decorated with gambolling shishi with cash symbols in enamels.The reverse is similarly decorated as the interior...

Very rare sample of Yuan dynasty blue and white large meiping vase 42cm, meping is decorated with under glaze blue large large dragon and flower scroll motif. these shards is very good for studying and comparison for any one who interested in studying early Chinese porcelain.
The vase would be around 42 cm height if in complete condition.
