Interesting late neolithic - early bronzeage stamp seal in attractive dark green stone, finely engraved, East Anatolia/West Mesopotamia, c. 3rd. millenium bC.
The seal finely made with a handle and sort of 'Hat-shaped' like these pre-Hittite seals often are. The engraving shows a pair of horned animals with very long curved horns and with the small triangular spearpoint-forms in the fields, typical for Anatolian seals.

19th century Japanese small lacquered wood netsuke representing a theatrical mask of Shishiguchi - a lion mask used in scene 2 of the play Shakkyo. Uncommon image, excellent intense face, great patina. Crisp detailing, nicely lacquered, some wear to the surface. Signed RYUUN on the back bar - the artist is listed in NETSUKE MASKS by Raymond Bushell, p. 175, signatures 241-243. Height 1.23 inches.

This very well made and hand painted vase is a 19th century product. It is 9 ½” high and 2 ¾” wide from the widest part. It depicts chrysanthemum and butterflies over a beige crackled body. There is a brocade pattern design on the top of the vase. The black hand-painted mark “Dai Nippon, Taizan Sei” is on the bottom. It is in great condition.
The two Famille Jaune sweetmeat dishes decorated on the interior with branches of a blossoming plum tree. Main colors are the yellow and green enamels, details are in black thin lines. Early 18th Century, KANGXI to YONGZHEN Period Blue and White Octagonal Porcelain Wine Cup and matching Saucer hand painted in blue under glaze with scrolls and lotus flowers. Both the cup and saucer have a pretty flower center medallion and the rims are decorated with a diaper border. Condition nice, saucer has flea bites/one filled rim chip (could be professionally perfected), otherwise no hairlines or restorations. Size: Saucer 4" (10 cm.) diameter, Cup 2 1/4" (5.75 cm.) diameter.
Interesting blackstone seal with low loop handle and a carving of XXX inside linedecoration, Mesopotamian, late Ubaid period (5500-3700 BC).
Oberlánder dates this seal to the 3rd. millenium BC, we're certain that it's a much earlier and made in the later Ubaid period (5500-3700 BC).

An exceptional fine antique Japanese silver vase with a dragon coiled around it's tall neck. The round body of the vase has a large dragon and churning waves in high relief. The foliate rim and foot are incised with details of chrysanthemum blossoms. There is a 3 character signature on the bottom.
The first two characters are the artist's name 政成 which could read Masanari in Japanese or Sino-Japanese Seisei...

Chinese export Imari plate, early 18th c. Outer border of scroll-work, the well with a bird and a blossoming tree motif within a diaper border, all in under-glaze blue and iron red and gilt over the glaze. Diameter "8¾/ 22,5 cm. Condition: some wear to the well and a 2 mm nick or glaze burst to the rim (cf. photos).
A nice b/w dish, decorated with a pair of Mandarin ducks swimming among lotus pond. Two character mark 'Wan Yu', Qing dynasty 18th century. Condition with a short hairline and tiny kiln chip. Diameter: 18.3cm.
