18th century Japanese sword iron tsuba with pierced design of four roundels with crosses among scrolling vines. Crosses may be namban (Christian) symbols or the mon (samurai family crest) of the Shimazu clan of Satsuma province. Excellent early piece with numerous perforations requiring enormous amount of work, precise detailing, gilding, wear and patina consistent with age. Height 3.06 inches, width 2.71 inches.

Decorated with molded patterns of scrolled flowers, "shou"(longevity) and "Chinese coins"(wealthy) symbols. Condition: Two chip repairs on shoulder; normal wear. Pair of finely carved wooden panels of the eight Taoist immortals and their attribute. These panels were to be part of a small religious piece of furniture rather than a screen. The wood is left natural, the carving is exceptionally good quality for Chinese woodwork. No traces of pigments, only the edges are lacquered in red as can be seen in a photo. The back of the panels is covered with a red layer of lacquer or oil paint which has cracked and degraded over time...
A beautiful and elegant double series opaque twist (DSOT) cordial glass with a honeycomb molded round funnel bowl. The stem has a 12 ply spiral band around a central lace twist. 6 11/16" tall, with a bowl diameter of 1 7/8" and a foot diameter of 2 9/16". Rough snapped pontil, superb condition.
Spectacular 19th Century miniature Buddha's Throne from Mandalay, Burma. Elaborately hand carved wood with finest gilding inlaid with countless cabochons and colored mirror pieces. 18th Century Chinese Jade Carved Tiger Pendant with 19th Century White Jade Bead & Silver Bead Necklace
It is 17.5 inches (445.45 cm) in inner circumference by 11.8 inches (30 cm) in length. The pendant is 1.48 inches (3.77 cm) long by 2.1 inches (5.4 cm) wide. The beads range from 9.79 mm to 29.6 mm wide. It is 134.2 gram.
The pendant has chips, inclusions, and surface wears and scratches. The beads have inclusions and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos)...
A Japanese Arita lobed dish decorated with a dragon descending from clouds, grasping the pearl of wisdom. The back with a fuku mark. The dish dates from 1750~1790. A similar design to Chinese examples of the Yongzheng period.
Approximately 14 cm diameter. Perfect condition.

Beautiful antique Chinese bamboo root vessel in pottery medicine pot. Delightful in size and with pleasing texture all over. Age: 18th Century. Size: 2.5" height x 3.5" length.
An English antique ale glass with an elongated ogee bowl raised on a double series opaque twist (DSOT) stem containing a pair of corkscrews outside of a pair of heavy spiral threads.
The glass stands 7 7/8 inches tall, with a bowl diameter of 2 1/8 inches and a very wide stance foot diameter of 3 1/8 inches. Good color, striations, and tool marks, with a conical foot with a rough snapped pontil. Wonderful condition with no flaws or restoration.
Nice lot of two smaller buddha figures, Thailand and probably used inside amulets of shrines, c. 15th.-18th. cent. AD.
The larger buddha is probably from c. 18th. century but could be earlier, finely details, sukhothai style with nice old patina. The other excarvated and probably dating pre 16th. century at least if not medieval.

A rare and very large medical grade brass mortar with Dolphin handles, after Dutch model, Dutch or Northern European, c. 1690-1700.
An elegant mortar with concenthric lines and a gothic design with the wide mouth and two dolphin handles applied at the waist. The mortar comes with the original pestle. Such a large size and fine execution mortar for the period, would have been made for a pharmacy.
