A lovely pair of bronze and enamel Chinese cloisonne candlesticks. In excellent condition, they measure 6" high.
Another fine example from our personal collection of animal hooked rugs, this one featuring an elephant posed on grass with fruited tree branches descending from the top of the rug.
The rug has a felt border, easily detached if so desired. The condition is excellent, with good colors and some slight scattered wear to the border. The size is 40" by 30".
A very unusual export dish decorated with an aubergine enamelled dragon set against a black ground and green clouds in a circle with a central Chrysanthemum motif. The border painted in a three colour Imari palette of Peonies and Irises. The reverse is undecorated.
The dish is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or restoration...

The blossoms are worked in shades of cream, yellow, rose and violet, while the foliage is stained a reddish-purple and highlighted with complex lacy gilding. A beautiful Chinese Qing dynasty cloisonné brush washer in excellent condition. Marked. D:20cm $750
The glass snuff bottle shows the four sea-dragons swimming in the sea. This probably represent the four seas.Each of the dragon have four claws which represents royalty but not imperial. The colour of the snuff bottle is of dark orange colour. The base has a honorific Qianlong mark to the base. Cir. late 19th century, likely to be dated to the Guangxu (1875-1908) period.

Antique Korean single-section kitchen storage cabinet. The top portion has 4 lattice panels. The two on the outside are stationery while the two in the center slide to open a large compartment. The lower portion of the chest has a pair of hinged doors which open to another compartment. On the bottom right is a small drawer over a box opened with a hinged door.

A very attracive and fine condition, early Iron box lock from a large gate or strong door, South German, c. 1650.
The lock is finely constructed in solid ironwork, portal shape with Three bolts and the original iron panel with slots for the bolts still attached to the lock.
Size: 24,5 cm. wide and 24,5 cm. tall, heavy weighing 2,2 kilograms!
Condition: Superb! The lock of exceptional metal for the age and the lock-mecanism is in working condition...

Ancient Greek circa 5th century B.C. finely hand made bronze bowl with carinated rim. Some areas of interior and exterior have visible traces of gold gilding.
MEASUREMENTS: Diameter: 14 cm (5 1/2 in). Height: 5.7 cm (2 1/4 in).
CONDITION: The bowl is in reasonably good condition considering its age, except for one corroded area of the bottom rim and the base, as can be seen in the pictures. Nice patina, showing the age and usage...
1700s / early 1800s
This white jade is of an even pale celadon-white tone with a few small veins of light russet. It is carved in the form of a six-lobed melon standing upright and supported by four large leaves that emanate from a vine that runs beneath it. The vine is carved all the way through and flattened on the bottom to provide a stable surface for the stone to stand vertically. This white jade has an overall soft, even polish and is in good condition...
Three Shishi lions or “Foo dogs”, the guardian animals that used to be placed outside temples and imperial buildings. Two of the three originally formed the knobs of urn lids, the third and smallest is a lid from a miniature incense vessel or urn. Two with aubergine and green/turquoise glaze, the third in crackle-glaze gilt. Height of biggest Foo dog "2¾/ 7 cm, of smallest "1/ 2,5 cm. Condition: the angry, middle-sized dog has got his right back leg restored.
This magnificent handcrafted Art Nouveau figural brass letter opener is the nicest one I have seen, with intricate detailed "Spirit of Life" maiden wearing a flowing, draped gown, one arm resting on back of head, the other catching her windswept gown, standing on a base of sinewy bark surrounded by clover, circa 1890's, very heavy. Measurements: 10 in. high. Condition is near perfect.
This piece features a warm golden crackled glaze with several patches of lighter pigmentation and a number of gold and silver repairs. The inside of the bowl is especially inviting, showing a magnificent patina developed over many decades of use...
